Catherine Zeta-Jones is opening up about her marriage.

The 51-year-old actress revealed the the secret to her successful marriage to Michael Douglas in an interview with the WSJ. Magazine.

“First of all, we have a lot of fun together,” Catherine said. “My husband is 25 years older than me; that’s not a secret. With any relationship, it wouldn’t be normal if there weren’t any ups and downs. The constant is love and respect. We’ve never, ever lost our sense of humor, and we enjoy each other’s company.”

She added, “My husband and I spend a lot of time together because, unlike so many couples, we’ve never had a 9-to-5 job where it’s consistent. We’re either on or we’re off. I’m really working 16 hours a day, or I’m not. He’s doing the same, or not. So we’ve had in our relationship huge amounts of time where we’ve been just us. We lived on the island of Bermuda for 12 years bringing up our kids. We respect each other’s space, and our humor is just long-lasting.”

Michael and Catherine were married in 2000 and have two children together, Dylan, 20, and Carys, 17. Michael is also a father to Cameron Douglas, 42, from his marriage to Diandra Luker.

Over on the West Coast, longtime married couple Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick were seen presenting the Best Drama Series Actress award to The Crown‘s Emma Corrin.

FYI: Catherine wore a Dolce&Gabbana gown and shoes. Kyra wore a Marina Moscone look. Christopher wore a Emporio Armani navy blue peak lapel suit with Florsheim shoes and Bvlgari watch.

There are new presenters being added to the 2021 Golden Globes ceremony!

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Dick Clark Productions and NBC confirmed a group of presenters being added to this year’s awards show on Friday (February 19).

Kevin Bacon, Sterling K. Brown, Michael Douglas, Kyra Sedgwick, Susan Kelechi Watson and Catherine Zeta-Jones will all serve as presenters at this year’s event.

Michael and Catherine will take the stage together to present from The Rainbow Room in New York, while Kevin and Kyra , as well as Sterling and Susan, will present from The Beverly Hilton Ballroom in Los Angeles.

The pairs will join previously announced presenters Awkwafina, Cynthia Erivo, Annie Mumolo, Joaquin Phoenix, Kristen Wiig, and Renee Zellweger.

The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be hosted by Tina Fey from the Rainbow Room in New York and Amy Poehler from The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, and will air live coast to coast on Sunday (February 28) from 8-11 p.m. ET on NBC and will be available to stream the next day on Peacock. Catherine Zeta Jones is set to star in the upcoming season of Prodigal Son!

According to TV Line, Catherine will play Dr. Vivian Capshaw, Claremont Psychiatrics’ resident MD and leading man Michael Sheen‘s primary antagonist. When Michael‘s character Dr. Martin Whitley is tasked with infirmary duty, Dr. Capshaw delights in assigning him menial cleaning duties. But as Martin becomes more adept at treating patients, Dr. Capshaw realizes he may be more valuable than she assumed.

Fox Entertainment President Michael Thorn said in a statement to TV Line, “An extraordinary talent, Catherine Zeta-Jones is the perfect foil for the brilliant Michael Sheen. I can’t wait to see these two greats go head-to-head in a season that is bound to raise the bar set by an outstanding Season 1.”

Prodigal Son was picked up by Fox in 2019 after only two episodes aired. The series stars Tom Payne as Tom Bright, who has unique insight into the mind of serial killers because his father, played by Michael Sheen, is one. The cast also includes Bellamy Young, Halston Sage, Lou Diamond Phillips, Aurora Perrineau, and Frank Harts.

Catherine Zeta-Jones is getting a little sentimental.

On Christmas Day (Friday, December 25), the 51-year-old Oscar-winning actress took to Instagram to share a photo from Christmas last year, where she rocked a bikini while on vacation in Bermuda.

“Last year in Bermuda I was caught shamelessly kissing Santa Claus in my bikini 😂” Catherine wrote along with a pic of she and Santa.

“Totally bummed that this year he didn’t show up. I was ready, masked and waiting. Oh well, maybe next year,” Catherine added.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas aren’t having a big party for their upcoming 20th wedding anniversary.

The 50-year-old actress spoke to People about the important date and she revealed that until the pandemic calms down again.

“We won’t be doing any great big party,” Catherine shared. “Not that I’m a big party fan anyway. It would be nice to get all our friends together in one space, but we’re not doing that until we’re completely out of the woods.”

But she does plan to “raise my mask and let my husband passionately kiss me,” adding that right after she will “put it firmly back on.”

Catherine also opened up about how quarantine is treating their family – including kids, Dylan, and Carys.

“All of a sudden we were all back together again. And I have to say, I loved it. I really loved it,” she says. “Supposedly…we’ve been much better than a lot of his friends’ families. He said, ‘Mom, you have no idea. James is not talking to his dad, he’s not talking to his mom.’ And I said, ‘Well, we’re doing pretty well.’”

The 50-year-old actress is plotting to launch her own brand, according to The Daily Mail.

The products in the Casa Zeta-Jones range will now reportedly include vegan shoes, Welsh love spoons, coffee and makeup, among many other offerings like dressing gowns, slippers and duvet sets.

“Everything I have designed has truly been a passion project. I wanted to take this passion a step further and create a brand that’s beautiful and luxurious, while still being attainable,” she said.

Her “main priority,” according to the report, will be her “range of flat pumps which will sell for a modest £50 a pair,” and are described as being “made from the finest vegan leather.”

The Casa Zeta-Jones Twitter account also recently teased that something big was coming soon.
