Taylor Swift seemed to get caught up in the moment after winning Album of the Year at the 2024 Grammy Awards and she forgot to acknowledge the legendary Celine Dion, who presented her the award.

Fans on social media were upset that Taylor appeared to snub Celine on stage during the event on Sunday (February 4) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Celine made a surprise appearance at the Grammys to present the biggest award of the night, marking her first major appearance since being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome.

After being named the winner for her album Midnights, Taylor went on stage and celebrated with all her collaborators, giving them all big hugs, while Celine stood there waiting to give the singer the trophy. When Taylor finally went up to the microphone, she simply took the trophy from Celine without acknowledging her or even looking her in the eye.

Well, Taylor got a chance to formally meet Celine backstage! Photos show that the two stars hugged it out in the wings after leaving the stage. We don’t think there will be any “bad blood” between the stars.

CBS teased that a huge star would make a surprise appearance at the Grammys – and it was Celine Dion!

The beloved “My Heart Will Go On” singer presented the award for Album of the Year at the very end of the show at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 4) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

René-Charles Angélil, her 23-year-old son, walked her on stage.

Celine previously won the award back in 1997 for her album Falling into You.

Celine Dion is in the building!

The 55-year-old global icon was spotted arriving at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 4) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer was seen entering the arena with stylist Law Roach.

Fans are speculating about who might be the big entertainer at the end of the show after an executive producer teased that the final presenter of the night will be a major moment.

“They are an absolute global icon. I think jaws will drop to the floor. People will be on their feet,” he said, adding: “The only condition they gave is that it was a surprise.”

“Breaking: Celine Dion is in the building!! Looking healthy, beautiful and amazing. Joined by superstar stylist Law Roach (who styled her and helped made her fashion icon). She is going up VIP elevator with garment bags full of gowns. #Grammys,” THR‘s Chris Gardner noted.

If you didn’t know, Celine Dion is battling stiff person syndrome. She announced that she was diagnosed with the rare and incurable neurological disorder in December 2022. Her sister, Claudette Dion, recently spoke out about the musician’s current condition.

Celine Dion made her first public appearance in more than three years last week, and details are emerging about how she is doing.

The 55-year-old “My Heart Will Go On” superstar attended the Montreal Canadiens NHL game in Las Vegas with her sons. It was her first time in public since she announced that she had been diagnosed with a rare and incurable neurological disorder called Stiff Person Syndrome in December 2022.

After attending the game, the vice president of hockey communications for the Canadiens provided some insight into the big day.
