There’s a singer going wildly viral online – and it’s all due to a social media prank.
British content creator Kevin Freshwater uploaded a fun video of himself asking strangers to finish the lyrics to songs, including Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper‘s A Star Is Born song “Shallow,” and one singer featured in the clip has gone totally viral for her incredible impromptu performance – and her name is Charlotte Awbery!

The original video has over 8.8 million views on Facebook, and it has over 17.2 million views from viral tweets on Twitter.
Charlotte, who is a singer-songwriter from East London, United Kingdom, wowed viewers with her gorgeous performance, resulting in lots of praise from social media users. She now has over 67,000 followers and counting on Instagram – jumping from 7,000 before going viral.
She’s also uploaded lots of differently covers in the past, including performances of Prince‘s “Purple Rain” and “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman.
