Have you watched season two of Sweet Tooth yet on Netflix? If not, what are you waiting for?!
We caught up with the show’s young star Christian Convery to learn more about him. The rising star plays Gus, a half boy-half deer child whose new species emerges as the world undergoes a global pandemic wiping out the human race. You might also recognize him from his role in the recent box office hit Cocaine Bear, which is now streaming on Peacock.

The upcoming movie Cocaine Bear has definitely been one of the more buzzworthy titles we’ve heard about in the past year and now a new trailer and movie poster has been released.
Elizabeth Banks directed the thriller and it’s inspired by a true story from 1985.
Cocaine Bear tells the “story of a drug runner’s plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it, this wild thriller finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500- pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow … and blood.”
The movie features a star-studded cast that includes Keri Russell, Margo Martindale, Ray Liotta, Alden Ehrenreich, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, among others.

The cast includes Christian Convery (Gus), Nonso Anozie (Tommy Jepperd), Adeel Akhtar (Dr. Aditya Singh), Aliza Vellani (Rani Singh), Stefania LaVie Owen (Bear), Dania Ramirez (Aimee Eden), Neil Sandilands (General Abbot), with Will Forte (Father) and James Brolin (Narrator).
Here’s a synopsis of the DC comic book show: Years after “The Great Crumble” changed everything, a hybrid deer-boy forms an unlikely bond with a wandering loner. Together, they embark on an extraordinary adventure through the lush, dangerous world left behind, searching for the meaning of home. The show will premiere on June 4, 2021.
John Cena is going public with his new girlfriend!
The 42-year-old pro wrestler turned actor was supported by girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh at the premiere of his new movie Playing with Fire on Saturday (October 26) at the AMC Lincoln Square in New York City.

Also joining John at the premiere were his co-stars Keegan-Micheal Key and wife Elisa Pugliese, Brianna Hildebrand, Christian Convery, Tyler Mane, Finley Rose Slater, and Dennis Haysbert along with director Andy Fickman.

The 42-year-old professional wrestler and actor stars in the comedy flick along with Keegan-Michael Key, John Leguizamo, Brianna Hildebrand, Dennis Haybert, and Judy Greer.
Here’s the synopsis: “When straight-laced fire superintendent Jake Carson (Cena) and his elite team of expert firefighters (Key, Leguizamo, and Tyler Mane) come to the rescue of three siblings (Hildebrand, Christian Convery, and Finley Rose Slater) in the path of an encroaching wildfire, they quickly realize that no amount of training could prepare them for their most challenging job yet – babysitters.”
It continues, “Unable to locate the children’s parents, the firefighters have their lives, jobs and even their fire depot turned upside down and quickly learn that kids – much like fires –are wild and unpredictable.”
Don’t miss John Cena in Playing With Fire, directed by Andy Fickman, when it hits theaters on November 8.
