The 2022 Country Music Association Awards have come to a close and all of the winners have been announced!

The annual country music awards show, with hosts Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, took place on Wednesday night (November 9) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

Going into the 2022 CMAs, first-time nominee Lainey Wilson received the most nominations with six nods.

Behind Lainey, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton and songwriter/producer Shane McAnally each received five nominations.

Maren Morris only popped by the 2022 CMA Awards for a few quick minutes.

Back in September, the 32-year-old country music star admitted in an interview that she didn’t “feel comfortable going” to the awards show this year, following her very public feud with Jason Aldean‘s wife Brittany.

Fans were quick to notice that Maren skipped the red carpet ahead of the CMAs, which took place on Wednesday night (November 9), however, she did make a brief appearance during the ceremony.

Sarah Drew sparkles in a winter white look for the 2022 CMA Awards on Wednesday night (November 9) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

The 42-year-old actress was one of the many celebrity presenters at the show, which aired just a few days ahead of her new holiday Lifetime movie, Reindeer Games Homecoming.

In the flick, Sarah reunites with Justin Bruening, who played her husband on Grey’s Anatomy.

Not only is he just a great actor, he’s perfect for this role in every way,” she shared with EW. “We have great chemistry together. And on top of all that, he’s such an incredible team player.”

Thomas Rhett had the support of wife Lauren Akins as they stepped out for the awards show held on Wednesday night (November 9) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

Lainey Wilson made the 2022 CMA Awards a very special night for her and her dad.

The 30-year-old musician and Yellowstone actress hit the red carpet with her dad, Brian, on Wednesday night (November 9) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

Just last month, Brian suffered a stroke, following an infection that cost him an eye, which makes him being at the event much more special.

“My daddy is going to walk the CMAs carpet with me,” Lainey told the NY Post in an interview. “He was sick [with a fungal infection caused by diabetic ketoacidosis] this summer, and we didn’t think that he was gonna make it. He spent two weeks in ICU and a few weeks in a rehab facility. But he has been working really hard to get to the point where he can walk me on the carpet.”

Wynonna Judd, Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde, Lindsay Ell, Elle King and husband Dan Tooker, Little Big Town, Lady A, and Lainey‘s Yellowstone co-star Cole Hauser were also seen at the event.

FYI: Little Big Town‘s Karen Fairchild wore Alaia, and her bandmate Kimberly Schlapman wore Azzi & Osta.

Katy Perry appears to be honoring Britney Spears in her latest red carpet look.

The 38-year-old “Teenage Dream” singer hit the red carpet at the 2022 CMA Awards on Wednesday night (November 9) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

For the red carpet, Katy is wearing an off the shoulder denim top with baggy jeans with a giant bow on her hip, paired with pearl choker.

This is now the second time Katy has worn a denim outfit inspired by Britney‘s iconic 2001 American Music Awards denim dress. Katy wore a denim dress by Versace to the 2014 VMAs.

Jessica Chastain sparkles in a deep blue dress while arriving at the 2022 CMA Awards on Wednesday night (November 9) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

The 45-year-old actress walked the red carpet next to Michael Shannon, who she stars with in the upcoming George & Tammy series on Showtime.

Jessica and Michael play the title characters, and famed lives of country music power couple, Tammy Wynette and George Jones.
