Selena Gomez stars in the trailer for her upcoming Netflix movie The Fundamental of Caring.

The film follows the story of Ben (Paul Rudd), a retired writer who becomes a caregiver after suffering a personal tragedy. After 6 weeks of training, Ben meets his first client, Trevor (Craig Roberts), a foul-mouthed 18-year-old with muscular dystrophy. One paralyzed emotionally, one paralyzed physically, Ben and Trevor take an impromptu road trip to all the places Trevor has become obsessed with while watching the local news, including their holy grail: the World’s Deepest Pit. Along the way, they pick up a smart-mouthed runaway (Gomez) and a mother-to-be who help test the pair’s survival skills outside of their calculated existence as they come to understand the importance of hope and true friendship.

The Fundamentals of Caring is set to premiere on June 24.

Later that day, the 23-year-old actress attended the premiere of her film Fundamentals of Caring alongside her co-stars Paul Rudd and Craig Roberts.

Selena plays a hitchhiker in the film which follows a man suffering an incredible amount of loss who enrolls in a class about care-giving that changes his perspective on life.

“Finally got to see our movie tonight at Sundance!!! So proud to have the closing film -can’t wait for you guys to see it soooon,” Selena wrote on her Instagram following the premiere.

FYI: At the premiere, Selena is wearing a Tory Burch sweater and leggings, a Saint Laurent scarf and Givenchy boots. At the portrait session, she is wearing an ALC sweater, Rag & Bone jeans and Jimmy Choo boots.

The 22-year-old actress/singer stayed bundled up in a puffy, black jacket in between takes.
