The 28-year-old Brazilian superstar and the 29-year-old rapper collaborated a hot new remix of Anitta’s new single “Girl From Rio,” a twist on the bossa nova classic, “Garota de Ipanema.”

Upon its debut, “Girl From Rio” debuted in the Top 40 U.S. Radio Airplay Chart (US), a first for Anitta, as well as garnering over 13 million Spotify streams and 20 million views on the official music video.

DaBaby attempted to make it up to JoJo Siwa!
The 29-year-old “Rockstar” entertainer said he tried to reach out to the 17-year-old superstar to have her perform with him at the 2021 Grammys on Sunday night (March 14).

“We’re 1000% JoJo Siwa fans. We love her, we actually reached out to see if she wanted to perform with me at the Grammys. But I heard she’s somewhere working on a project of her own,” he explained to ET.
The news comes after DaBaby previously name-dropped her in a “Beatbox” freestyle in February, rapping: “You a bitch, JoJo Siwa (bitch),” which many took to be an odd and unexpected diss. He later directly tweeted at her to explain the line as “word play.”

For his performance, DaBaby was joined on stage by Roddy Ricch and Anthony Hamilton as he performed his hit “Rockstar.”

DaBaby steps out in a cool pattern-print suit and broad-brimmed hat at the 2021 Grammys held at Los Angeles Convention Center on Sunday (March 14) in Los Angeles.
The rapper is nominated for four Grammy awards this year, including Record of the Year, Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Rockstar”, which he will perform at the ceremony, and Best Rap Performance for “Bop.”
He also brought a very special guest to join him on the carpet – his mom!
DaBaby posted a sweet video of his family creating their own makeshift red carpet on Instagram with the caption, “Due to Covid-19 Restrictions no kids are allowed in the Grammys, so we created our OWN red carpet just so my princess could walk the carpet & show her dress off.”

Taylor Swift, BTS and Harry Styles are among the major entertainers set to hit the stage.
Bad Bunny, Black Pumas, Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, DaBaby, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Mickey Guyton, Haim, Brittany Howard, Miranda Lambert, Lil Baby, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Megan Thee Stallion, Maren Morris, Post Malone and Roddy Ricch will also be performing.
Several of the performers are making their Grammys stage debut, including Harry, Megan and Bad Bunny.
“Artists will be coming together, while still safely apart, to play music for each other as a community and celebrate the music that unites us all,” the announcement reads, adding that the audience will be limited to performers, nominees and a small number of their guests.
