Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney of the group Dan + Shay hit the stage to accept an award at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday night (April 7) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The guys picked up two of the early awards of the night – Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year for their song “Tequila.”

The duo is up for six awards this evening, including Duo of the Year.

The song’s co-producer Scott Hendricks accepted Single Record of the Year with them while Dan‘s song co-writers Nicolle Galyon and Jordan Reynolds helped accept Song of the Year.

Dan + Shay are bringing their hit song “Tequila” to the stage at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The two performed a more stripped-down rendition of the song, featuring acoustic guitar, piano and a string section.

The smash hit won Best Country Duo/Group Performance during the evening’s ceremony, and was nominated for Best Country Song.

“Tequila” is featured on their self-titled third album, which was released in June of 2018.

The show was hosted this year by 15-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys.

Dan + Shay hit the stage in the middle of Times Square for a performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on Monday (December 31) in New York City.

The guys performed their hit songs “All to Myself” and “Tequila” and braved the rain during their performance.

Dan + Shay are currently celebrating the success of their new song “Speechless.”

“Waiting for someone to pinch us and wake us up from this incredible dream. Thank you country radio + country music fans for our first THREE WEEK #1!” they wrote on Instagram.

Kacey Musgraves, Dierks Bentley and Thomas Rhett are facing their haters!

The country stars all sat down for a special Country Music Edition of Jimmy Kimmel‘s Mean Tweets series following the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday night (November 14).

Midland, Lauren Alaina, Brothers Osborne, Jon Pardi, Cole Swindell, Luke Combs, Michael Ray, Scotty McCreery, Ashley McBryde, Old Dominion, Rascal Flatts and Dan + Shay also participated in the hilarious Mean Tweets reading.

Dan + Shay totally rock the stage at the 2018 CMA Awards at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 14) in Nashville, Tenn.

The guys – Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney – hit the stage during the awards show for a fiery performance of their hit song “Tequila.”

Before the show, Dan and Shay were joined on the red carpet by their wives Abby Law and Hannah Billingsley.

Dan + Shay are nominated for three awards tonight including Vocal Duo of the Year.

The 28-year-old country singer looked pretty in a bright purple outfit as she was joined at the event by husband Ryan Hurd and fellow country star Thomas Rhett.

Other stars at the event included Kacey Musgraves, Rita Wilson, the guys of Dan + Shay, Lauren Alaina, Luke Bryan and wife Caroline, Dennis Quaid, along with Scotty McCreery and wife Gabi Dugal.

During the event, the country stars paid tribute to legendary songwriter and guitarist Steve Cropper – and presented him with the BMI Icon Award.

Dierks Bentley and Sam Hunt had the best dates for the 2018 CMT Music Awards!

Dierks hit the red carpet holding hands with 7-year-old daughter Jordan while Sam and wife Hannah Lee Fowler skipped the carpet for the awards show held at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (June 6) in Nashville, Tenn.
