David Henrie is a dad – again!

The 31-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place actor and his wife Maria Cahill welcomed their second child into the world on Christmas night. They are also the parents of a 21-month-old daughter named Pia.

“CHRISTMAS BABY!!! Y’all… WHAT A NIGHT! James Thomas Augustine Emanuel Henrie was born at 9:33pm on December 25th 2020 weighing 8lbs 13oz,” David wrote on his Instagram page along with James‘ first photos.

He continued, “My wife is a superhero and was able to achieve her goal of having a drug free birth. I’m so proud of her! Aside from sharing the stage with none other then Jesus, He blessed us in a special way by giving us James on this date because it was December 25th 2019 that we had our fourth miscarriage. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes, they paid off in a massive way. MERRY CHRISTMAS :) ps it started snowing as he was being pushed out. Crazy!!!”

Before the birth, David took to Instagram to share Maria‘s birth plan and how she wanted to have a natural birth.

Is there a Wizards of Waverly Place reboot in the future?

David Henrie and Greg Sulkin spoke with Access Hollywood about their upcoming movie, This Is The Year.

During the chat, the stars both talked about all of the fun they had reuniting for the teen rom-com after starting their careers together on Wizards of Waverly Place. David also talked about how supportive his former co-star Selena Gomez has been with the film.

Plus, David and Greg revealed if a reunion of the beloved series is a possibility.

“Nothing has happened yet, but there’s a lot of talk…we all talk about it for fun,” David admitted.

“Everyone would be down, but it’s just a matter of time I think.”

Selena Gomez was recently revealed as the guest feature on this highly anticipated song!

The Disney channel series ran from October of 2007 to January of 2012, and also co-starred Jake T. Austin, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals Barrera and David DeLuise.

Selena Gomez and David Henrie delivered a major tease to their longtime fans over the weekend and just delivered the big news,

The two Wizards of Waverly Place co-stars have actually teamed up for David‘s directorial debut, This Is The Year, and Selena is the executive producer on it.

Selena and David also announced that This Is The Year will have a live virtual premiere event, moderated by sisters Charli and Dixie D’Amelio.

Here’s the This Is The Year summary: In a last ditch effort to win over the girl of his dreams, a nerdy high school senior (Lorenzo Henrie) and his best friends embark on a road trip to see their favorite band at the biggest music festival of the year. On their journey, they realize that elaborate plans never go off without a hitch, and that you can find true love in the most unexpected places.

The 30-year-old actor also reunited at the event with his former Wizards of Waverly Place co-star Jake T. Austin.

News about David‘s new movie, This Is The Year, was just announced and it’s reported that AMBI Distribution will be screening the comedy through the 2019 American Film Market.

If you don’t know, This Is The Year centers on a nerdy high school senior who sets off to a rock concert to win the girl of his dreams.

Maria Shriver made it a family event while hosting the 2019 Move for Minds!

The 63-year-old journalist was joined by daughters Christina and Katherine Schwarzengger and son Patrick Schwarzenegger at the event thrown by The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement and Equinox Fitness Clubs on Saturday afternoon (November 2) art the Equinox Sports Club in Los Angeles.

Move for Minds is an annual fundraiser that brings together a diverse and powerful group of experts in brain health, as well as voices of those directly impacted by Alzheimer’s. It is an annual initiative of non-profit organization The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement, and all funds raised are used to support women-based Alzheimer’s research.

Selena Gomez and David Henrie are ready for a Wizards of Waverly Place reboot!

The former Disney Channel co-stars, who have remained close friends, have been busy brainstorming ideas for a possible show!

While nothing is formal yet, David says it’s definitely something the duo would like to do in the future.

“Selena and I have a reboot! We sit and talk about it all the time. It’s not formal. But Selena and I sit and talk about what would the reboot be. We have a whole take. We have a whole thing,” David explained to ET.

He continued, “What made the Russos special is that we were a family. So the show ended, someone won the competition. We want to start the show a few years later in the worst place ever so throughout the series you give them a nice arc of reuniting.”

David added that Alex would be some sort of fashion designer while Max is still running the sub shop and Justin has a family and is headmaster of WizTech.
