David Henrie and his wife Maria are now the proud parents of a baby girl!
The 29-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star and his wife just welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Pia, on Tuesday (March 19).
ET reports that Pia was born in Los Angeles, and weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz.
“It’s been six decades since there’s been a Henrie girl, so we are overjoyed to welcome little Pia Henrie into the world,” David shared.
Congrats to David and Maria on their little bundle of joy!
David Henrie is facing three charges after bringing a loaded gun to an airport.
Earlier this month, the 29-year-old former Wizards of Waverly Place actor accidentally brought his legally owned personal gun to LAX airport in Los Angeles.
David was immediately taken into custody after TSA agents discovered he had a loaded gun on him and he later issued an apology for the disruption.
According to TMZ, the L.A. City Attorney’s Office has filed three charges against David including carrying a loaded firearm, carrying a concealed firearm and possessing a weapon in a sterile area of the airport.
If convicted, he faces a maximum of one year behind bars.
David Henrie is speaking out to apologize for the trouble he caused when he was arrested at LAX for being in possession of a loaded gun.
The 29-year-old former Wizards of Waverly Place actor was immediately detained after the loaded gun was discovered while he was going through security on Monday morning (September 10).
“I take responsibility for the situation at LAX today,” David said in a statement on social media. “I unintentionally brought my legally owned gun which is registered in my name to the airport. I am so sorry for any trouble it caused, but I am appreciate of TSA’s efforts in implementing the safety laws that are in place to protect our beautiful country.”
“More than anything I am humiliated and embarrassed that this even happened,” David added. “But am thankful to the TSA, LAPD and all involved today for their kindness and their professionalism during this process.”
David Henrie, well known for his work starring on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place, was arrested at LAX Airport on Monday (September 10) for having a loaded gun.
The 29-year-old actor was going through security at the airport in the morning when the loaded gun was discovered. According to TMZ, the gun was a M&P Shield 9mm pistol. He was immediately detained and taken to a local police station.
So far, there’s been no statement from David indicating why he would be carrying a loaded gun at the airport.
It was recently revealed that David and his wife, Maria, are expecting their first child together.
Wizards of Waverly Place aired from 2007 to 2012 and also starred Selena Gomez.

“Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Spent mine with some of my favorite people @disney” she wrote on the next picture.
If you didn’t know, Selena and David played siblings Alex and Justin Russo on The Wizards of Waverly Place from 2007 to 2012, and have stayed friends ever since!

All World Market furniture and accessories featured will be donated directly to Habitat for Humanity, who’s mission is build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
Selena Gomez is sharing her feelings on her Wizards of Waverly Place co-star David Henrie getting married this week.

David married his girlfriend Maria Cahill in a ceremony in Southern California, and all of his main WOWP co-stars were in attendance. The cast has stayed pretty close since the show ended.
