HBO Max-Discovery+ Infographic Gets Major Backlash for Being Sexist

Warner Bros. Discovery is facing a lot of backlash after releasing an infographic that broke down the demographics of their two streaming services, HBO Max and Discovery Plus.

The infographic was released as part of the company’s Q2 earnings call, in which it was announced that the two streaming services will merge into a single service in summer 2023.

There was immediately backlash from people on social media, who called the infographic “sexist.”

'The Flash' Is Still Being Released, Despite Ezra Miller's Scandals

The Flash is still a go.

The film, which stars controversial actor Ezra Miller, is still set to be released, according to Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav.

The CEO made the announcement during a Q2 earnings call on Thursday (August 4), which comes after several headlines, arrests and allegations against the 29-year-old star, who is accused of harassment and harboring young children in an unsafe environment, among other stories.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav Defends Cancelling 'Batgirl'

David Zaslav is addressing the controversial cancellation of Batgirl, as well as Scoob!: Holiday Haunt.

The Warner Bros. Discovery CEO spoke about their decision during the Warner Bros. company earnings call on Thursday (August 4).

The company axed the Leslie Grace-starring Batgirl earlier in the week, which the directors said they were “saddened and shocked” about in a statement.
