Gal Gadot Reveals If She'll Continue Playing Wonder Woman Under New DC Universe Leadership

Gal Gadot has some news…it looks like she’s sticking around as Wonder Woman!

The 38-year-old actress did a newly published interview in promotion of Netflix’s Heart of Stone (we’re assuming this interview was fully conducted before the actors’ strike).

In the interview, she was asked about her status as Wonder Woman. If you don’t know, since James Gunn and Peter Safran took over as the co-heads of the DC Universe, many actors who had already been solidified in their superhero roles were suddenly in limbo. Some of the actors who were impacted were Henry Cavill as Superman and The Rock as Black Adam.

Rumors are beginning to circulate about who might take on the role of Superman in the new DC Universe movie Superman: Legacy.

Ever since the new DC heads, James Gunn and Peter Safran, announced that they would be recasting the role of Superman, the rumor mill has been circulating. Henry Cavill previously took on the role, but will no longer be portraying the caped superhero in the new films going forward.
