It was revealed that The Bachelor Winter Games stars Lesley Murphy and Dean Unglert broke up over the weekend, and now, she’s breaking her silence with a lengthy Instagram post.

“It’s a bit strange to feel the need to post about this, but I don’t think I can honestly resume my normal programming (✈️🏖🏕) without giving you an explanation – and maybe that’s the wrong word, but I just wanted to thank y’all for the love and respect you’ve shown me over the past few days,” she posted.

“I spent 5 years away from Bachelor Nation as I lived abroad and traveled for work. I came back to Winter Games because I’ve seen this franchise work miracles before. Through The Bachelor and my journey around the world, I have made deep connections, true meaningful intimate relationships with many walks of life. I know it’s imperative to find someone who chooses us and acknowledges our many layers, who can be open and vulnerable, and most importantly, who is ready. To meet someone and be met. To be chosen and to choose. To love and to be loved. This is everything. All we need is that same energy reciprocated, and despite how open and loving you attempt to be, people can only meet you as deeply as they’ve met themselves. Don’t be afraid to be the one that loved the most and give everything you had, because you’ve got to find people who love like you do and who are ready,” Lesley added. “Out with the old, in with the ᴛʀᴜᴇ. It was a long winter, and I’m excited for a new season🌱🌸🌻🌷Let the spring cleaning commence. I’m ready.”

Lesley and Dean began dating on the February 2018 show, and in the finale, he gave her a key to his home.

The stars of Bachelor Nation are having fun in Las Vegas this weekend and there was a reunion between Peter Kraus and Dean Unglert, final four contestants on the latest season of The Bachelorette!

The guys posed for cute photos while walking the red carpet on night one of the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday night (September 22) at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas.

They were joined by Wells Adams, Becca Tilley, Ashley Iaconetti, and the recently single Ben Higgins.

The group got into town the day before and they spent the night at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, where they sipped on cocktails at Heart Bar and then had dinner at Gordon Ramsay Burger. On Friday afternoon, the guys were seen having fun at the FlowRider by the Planet Hollywood Pools!

Once a fan-favorite for the job, Dean Unglert is now opening up about not becoming The Bachelor this upcoming season.

“I talked about it very informally with a few people, but there was never a formal offer extended or anything like that,” Dean told ET. “If you watch two episodes of Paradise, you’ll see very quickly why I’m not the Bachelor this year.”

Dean was then asked if he thinks of himself as a “f*ckboy” after his actions with regards to Kristina and Danielle on Bachelor in Paradise. “I don’t know if I necessarily qualify myself as an f-boy, and of course it’s everyone’s freedom of expression to call me whatever they want to call me, but at this point, it’s just getting overplayed and overused…While I disagree with that, I can see how my actions reflect it. But every time I see that comment on my Instagram, a part of me dies inside.”

Dean and Kristina were coupled up during the majority of Bachelor in Paradise…until Danielle L. came along. Dean got cozy with the new contestant in the pool, and Kristina watched the entire thing happen.

“That was so disrespectful to me,” Kristina told Dean. “I do not deserve that.”

At the rose ceremony, Kristina felt betrayed by Dean‘s commitment to Danielle and decided to say her goodbyes during the rose ceremony. She didn’t give out her rose.

Meanwhile, Dean posted on Instagram in reaction to the moment, “You were out of my league,” with a photo of him kissing Kristina.

Rachel Lindsay and her new fiance Bryan Abasolo recently revealed that they want Alex to be the next Bachelor, even though many fans want to see her runner up Peter Kraus take the spotlight.

Now, Dean Unglert, one of her rejected contestants, is explaining why he thinks Rachel doesn’t want Peter as the next Bachelor.

“You look at it objectively and it seems like Peter‘s got the whole package. I think that she was just so emotionally attached to Peter and maybe things didn’t necessarily end up the way either of them wanted it to,” Dean, 25, said on Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins‘ podcast.

“[Rachel] isn’t ready to see [Peter] thrust back into the spotlight like that…Obviously we have no idea what’s going through Rachel’s head, but it makes sense from a viewer’s perspective,” he continued. “I’ve had my jealous moments as well, so it’s really hard to say. But she was so close to both Bryan and Peter and Eric [Bigger] obviously too. I definitely understand that she doesn’t want to relive any of their romantic moments within an entire season.”

The Bachelorette: Men Tell All special is airing tonight, and fans are anxiously anticipating Rachel Lindsay‘s conversation with Dean Unglert, a fan favorite she sent home after the home visits episode.

“It wasn’t your family,” the 32-year-old Dallas-based lawyer told Dean during the special. “It was just what I was going through personally, and based on that were the reasons decided to send Dean home.”

“I’m kind of still at a loss for words right now,” Dean responded. “I’m still confused about why you told me why you were falling in love with me and then I got the boot four days later.”

“I meant it. It’s just that you had so many emotions that were new to you, and I feel like some of your feelings of love were wrapped up in that. I don’t think I was taken over by emotions. In the moment, I did love you,” she continued.

Some fans have The Bachelorette Dean Unglert on their list of potential choices for the next Bachelor.

However, the 26-year-old reality star, who will next appear on Bachelor in Paradise, has a really humble response: he’s not ready.

“I just don’t think I’m ready for it. I just think that from an emotional standpoint I need to figure out a lot more about myself before I dive in and be the lead of anything. I think I have a ways to go before I’m ready for something like that,” Dean told E!. “I don’t want to say I have no interest in being the Bachelor, I just think I still have a lot of personal growth to do before I’m ready for something like that.”

“To be honest, I’m kind of flattered that the only reason people don’t want me to be the next Bachelor is because I’m too young,” he continued. “I will fully agree with them. I think I have a lot of emotional maturity and growth to go through before I’m ready for something like that.”

Dean‘s choice for Bachelor? “Hands down, Peter Bachelor 2018, if that’s possible! I don’t know if he’s engaged or not. But I would gladly concede to Peter as next Bachelor.”
