Detective Pikachu hits theaters in just a few hours and we have the scoop on if there’s anything after the credits.

We’ve heard that there’s no additional scenes after the credits, so you can get up and leave when the credits roll.

If you’re looking to see the movie, Ryan Reynolds, the film’s star, actually tweeted out a link to the “entire” film.

Here’s a synopsis: The story begins when ace detective Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, prompting his 21-year-old son Tim to find out what happened. Aiding in the investigation is Harry’s former Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu: a hilariously wise-cracking, adorable super-sleuth who is a puzzlement even to himself. Finding that they are uniquely equipped to communicate with one another, Tim and Pikachu join forces on a thrilling adventure to unravel the tangled mystery. Chasing clues together through the neon-lit streets of Ryme City—a sprawling, modern metropolis where humans and Pokémon live side by side in a hyper-realistic live-action world—they encounter a diverse cast of Pokémon characters and uncover a shocking plot that could destroy this peaceful co-existence and threaten the whole Pokémon universe.

Ryan Reynolds just tweeted out a link to the full Pokemon: Detective Pikachu movie… but it’s not actually the movie.

The 42-year-old actor, who voiced Pikachu in the new live-action adventure film, found a tweet from an account that claimed to have a pirated copy of the movie.

“Um…. Attn @DetPikachuMovie @warnerbros,” Ryan tweeted along with the link.

If you click the YouTube link and watch the video, you’ll see that the video is really just an hour and 43 minutes of Pikachu dancing on a loop.

Pokémon Detective Pikachu hits theaters on May 10, and the reviews are already in!

The movie follows a boy (Justice Smith) who comes across an intelligent talking Pikachu (Ryan Reynolds) who seeks to be a detective in a world where people collect Pokémon to do battle.

Ryan Reynolds is dapper as he hits the yellow carpet at the world premiere of his anticipated film Pokémon: Detective Pikachu held on Thursday (April 25) in Tokyo, Japan.

The 42-year-old actor, who voices the title character Detective Pikachu, was joined at the event by his co-stars Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton and Ken Watanabe, as well as the film’s director Rob Letterman.

Also in attendance to show their support were Japanese actors Marie Iitoyo and Ryoma Takeuchi, who are the dub voice actors for Justice and Kathryn’s characters for the Japanese release.

The film is slated to debut in the United States and Japan on May 10!

FYI: Ryan is wearing Brunello Cucinelli: Made to Measure. Kathryn is wearing a Valentino gown. Justice is wearing a Prada suit, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Montblanc watch.

Detective Pikachu isn’t even out yet, but it’s already getting a sequel!

Legendary revealed that they’re developing a sequel for the movie, which isn’t out until May 10, on Friday (January 25).

Oren Uziel has been hired to write the script for the follow-up to the Ryan Reynolds-starring original.

The Pokemon movie will also star Justice Smith as the lead human, and is about a young man teaming up with Detective Pikachu to find his father.

The plot details and release date of the upcoming sequel have not yet been revealed.
