Kaitlyn Dever, Will Poulter & John Boyega Bring 'Detroit' to Los Angeles

Kaitlyn Dever, Will Poulter, and John Boyega all stepped out for a special screening of their upcoming film Detroit!

The actors celebrated the film on Thursday night (August 3) at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles.

They were also joined by their co-stars Anthony Mackie, Algee Smith, Ben O’Toole, Jacob Latimore, Jason Mitchell, Joseph David Jones, Leon Thomas, Malcolm David Kelley, Nathan Davis Jr., Peyton Alex Smith, Samira Wiley and Tyler James Williams.

The film’s Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow was also in attendance.

Is There a 'Detroit' End Credits Scene?

The new movie Detroit is now in theaters everywhere and fans might want to know if they should stay in their seats after the film for a post-credits scene.

We can confirm that there is nothing after the credits, so feel free to leave without worrying that you will miss something. If you do wait, there is a small tribute to the people whose lives were affected by the Algiers Motel incident during the Detroit riots.

Detroit currently is at an 88%, certified fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Following the initial batch of reviews, the film had a 100% rating, but it has dropped as the release date approached.

John Boyega & John Krasinski Join 'Detroit' Cast at NYC Screening

John Krasinski, Kaitlyn Dever, Will Poulter, and John Boyega pose for a photo while attending a special screening of their movie Detroit on Tuesday (August 1) at the Whitby Hotel in New York City.

The actors were joined by the film’s Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow and co-stars Anthony Mackie, Austin Hebert, Joseph David-Jones, and Khris Davis.

Jennifer Morrison and Cuba Gooding Jr. also stepped out to check out the film, which hits theaters this weekend.

'Detroit' Star Algee Smith Debuts Music Video feat. Real-Life Larry Reed - Watch Now

Algee Smith plays the role of Larry Reed in the new movie Detroit and he just dropped a music video featuring the real-life man who inspired the film!

Larry is a former member of The Dramatics and survivor of the Algiers Motel incident during the Detroit Riots. He has not sung publicly in decades and left the group after the incident at the motel.

Algee and Larry teamed up for a rendition of “Grow” from the Detroit soundtrack.

'Detroit' Trailer: John Boyega Is Questioned in Intense Scene

The second trailer for Kathryn Bigelow‘s highly anticipated movie Detroit has arrived and it continues the story told in the first trailer!

The first trailer that was released showed an incident happening at a motel during the Detroit riots and the new trailer shows John Boyega‘s character being questioned over his involvement in the incident.

Detroit tells the gripping story of one of the darkest moments during the civil unrest that rocked Detroit in the summer of ’67.

Also featured in the cast are Will Poulter, Algee Smith, Jacob Latimore, Jason Mitchell, Hannah Murray, Kaitlyn Dever, Jack Reynor, John Krasnski, Anthony Mackie, and more.

Detroit hits theaters on August 4.
