Sofia Carson Joins Diane Warren at F4D's First Ladies Luncheon 2022

Sofia Carson and Diane Warren attend Fashion 4 Development’s 10th Annual First Ladies Luncheon on Tuesday (September 20) in New York City.

Fashion 4 Development, or F4D, is a global platform developed in support of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals that works to promote the fashion industry, and advance economic and social development.

Previous guests at F4D events include Meghan Markle, Anna Wintour and Angelina Jolie.

The luncheon included a special presentation of the song “Applause,” written by Diane and performed by Sofia, from the film Tell It Like A Woman. Experimental Carbon singer Sirintip closed out the luncheon with a performance as well.

The event also featured a “green carpet,” cocktail reception, awards ceremony, and fashion runway show highlighting “Ten Decades of Fashion 1920-2020,” curated by New York Vintage founder Shannon Hoey and designer Bonnie Young of BY.Bonnie Young.

The fashion show opened with an original song from Celia Babini, also known as CIB.

One day before on Monday (September 19), F4D hosted the 2nd Annual Sustainable Goals Banquet, including a floral fashion runway dance by Princess Lockerooo, and a live performance by Dionne Warwick, performing the song “Free,” written by Diane Warren and produced by her Dionne‘s son, Damon Elliott.

The song is part of the initiative Musicians in the Key of Free, in support of refugees worldwide.

Celebrity attendees at the events included Nigel Barker, Tunde Oyeneyin , Dancing With the Stars alum Cody Rigsby and Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu.

Sofia Carson recently weighed in on a possible sequel to her new Netflix movie, Purple Hearts.

There was another mix-up at the 2022 U.S. Open!

Earlier this week, social media went wild when they thought they spotted Beyonce in the stands at a tennis match, but it ended up being this Emmy-nominated actress instead.

On Wednesday night (August 31) it happened again, with a commentator seemingly mixing up the identities of Gladys Knight and Dionne Warwick.

Zendaya, Jared Leto, & More Stars Check Out Serena Williams' Second Match at U.S. Open 2022

The stars are stepping out for night three of the 2022 U.S. Open.

Zendaya and Jared Leto were both seen hanging out with friends in the stands at the Serena Williams vs. Anett Kontaveit match on Wednesday night (August 31) at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.

Other stars in attendance included Spike Lee, Anna Wintour, Dionne Warwick, tennis legend Billie Jean King, Tiger Woods and longtime girlfriend Erica Herman, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Jeopardy! champ Amy Schneider, and The Hills alum Lo Bosworth.

Serena‘s husband Alexis Ohanian and her sister Venus Williams were also seen cheering her on.

Serena ended up defeating Anett. She will face off against Ajla Tomljanović on Friday, September 3.

Earlier this month, Serena announced her plan to retire from tennis after playing in the U.S. Open.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2022 Nominees - Full List Revealed!

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced their 2022 nominees!

The prestigious museum has revealed the names of the 17 contenders in the running to be inducted into the museum.

This year’s nominees include Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Pat Benatar and Dionne Warwick, among many others.

The roster of seven inductees will be announced in May and the ceremony will be schedule for later this year. For consideration, acts must have released their first commercial work at least 25 years ago.

Fans can vote at or at the Hall of Fame in Cleveland now through April 29, 2021. The top five artists with the most votes will be tallied along with other ballots selecting the inductees.

Dionne Warwick is making her pick!

The legendary “I’ll Never Love This Way Again” 80-year-old singer sat down with E! News to discuss the 2021 Grammys happening on Sunday night (March 14).

During her appearance, she revealed who her pick would be for the highly coveted Album of the Year Award.

“You know…I hope Taylor [Swift] will get the third one, I really do…I would love…I find Jacob Collier very interesting, very very musical young man. He’s about music. It would be nice to see him even considered, but I would really would love to see Taylor go ahead and win this third one,” she explained.

Taylor Swift won in 2010 for Fearless, and again in 2015 for 1989. Check out all of this year’s nominees!
