David Tennant is speaking out following that surprise twist in the regeneration of Doctor Who.
The 51-year-old actor, who played the Tenth Doctor in the series from 2005-2010, will be returning as the 14th Doctor next year for three special episodes to celebrate the show’s 60th anniversary.
In a new interview, David opened up about stepping back into the long trench coat of his iconic role.

Ncuti Gatwa did a great job at keeping his Doctor Who casting a secret.
It was confirmed that the 29-year-old actor would be taking on the iconic role earlier this month and in a new interview, his Barbie co-star Simu Liu revealed that the cast learned the news the same time everyone else did.
