Glee star Dot Jones‘ wife Bridgette had a scary experience over the weekend, according to TMZ.
While the couple was celebrating the Fourth of July, Bridgette suffered a stroke right before they were supposed to attend a baseball game.
Dot and Brigette rushed to the hospital where it was discovered that she was suffering from a heart defect called patent foramen ovale, or a hole in the heart, which caused the stroke.
Thankfully, she was able to return home later in the week but will need surgery in a few weeks to close the hole in her heart.
“@bridgettcjones got home from the hospital last night and is on the mend. She is my champion and I’m blessed to have her,” Dot wrote on her Instagram.
Doctors expect Bridgette to make a full recovery.
