Eagles Co-Founder Randy Meisner's Wife Dies in Accidental Shooting

Lana Meisner, the wife of former Eagles member Randy Meisner, has died after an accidental shooting.

The Los Angeles Police Department concluded that Lana accidentally shot herself while trying to move the gun. The incident happened to take place just an hour and a half after she called 911 to report domestic violence as she claimed Randy was waiving a BB gun at her, according to TMZ.

“As she lifted the rifle in the case, another item within the case shifted and hit the trigger of the rifle causing it to fire and fatally injure Mrs. Meisner,” the LAPD said in a statement.

The police said that Randy “was cooperative throughout the investigation” and they don’t believe he was involved in Lana‘s death.
