Miranda Lambert is hitting the road on a cross-country, female-driven tour!

The country singer embarks on her Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour 2019 in September. Miranda will be joined by Elle King, Pistol Annies, Caylee Hammack, Tenille Townes, Maren Morris, and Ashley McBryde on various dates.

“I’m so excited and honored to be on tour with some of my favorite artists, who each inspire me in a different way,” Miranda said of her star-studded tour. “Maren Morris is a fiery fellow Texas girl that isn’t afraid to take a risk and be who she is. Elle King is a brave, confident and unapologetic artist who is honest about her life and uses it for her art. My fellow Pistol Annies are not only some of my best friends and writing partners, but also make me want to be a better artist every time we take the stage together. Tenille, Ashley and Caylee are all women who have something to say and they do it their own way. They are the next generation of fearless female artists and I’m so thrilled to share a stage with them.”

Rita Ora wows on the gray carpet at the 2019 VH1 Trailblazer Honors on Wednesday night (February 20) at The Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 28-year-old singer rocked a floor-length, black and white ruffled top with sparkling black shorts as she was joined at the event by The Handmaid’s Tale actress Samira Wiley.

Cher, Alyssa Milano and Mindy Kaling are all attending VH1′s Trailblazer Honors!

The three stars will be among the many celebrities in attendance at the celebration of politicians, entertainers, artists, activists, allies and icons who have dedicated their time and steadfast commitments to the women’s movement and beyond.

Anita Hill, Samira Wiley and Elle King have also been added to the roster of stars set to attend.

Elle will perform “Baby Outlaw” from her latest studio album, Shake the Spirit. Cher will be presenting to honoree Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Rita Ora is also set to perform.

Ava DuVernay, Margaret Atwood and Tarana Burke will also be honored.

The show will take place at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles and air on International Women’s Day, March 8, at 9 p.m. ET on VH1 and Logo.

Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris step out in style to attend the 2018 CMT Artists of The Year Awards held at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Wednesday (October 17) in Nashville, Tenn.

The three ladies were honorees at the event alongside Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman, Loretta Lynn and Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott.

Also in attendance was Tori Kelly, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Elle King, Sheryl Crow, Hillary‘s bandmates Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley, JoJo Fletcher and her hubby Jordan Rodgers, Martina McBride, Danielle Bradbery, Smokey Robinson, Sissy Spacek and her daughter Schuyler Fisk, and Maren‘s partner Ryan Hurd.

“We need more things like this,” pregnant Carrie began her acceptance speech. “You are not here because you are women, you are here because you’re dang good. It is an honor to get to share tonight with you.”

Elle King is opening up about her battle with substance abuse, depression, and PTSD after her marriage to Andrew Ferguson.

“Last year almost broke me…but I’m stronger now because of it,” Elle told People, referencing a split with her husband who she married after just a few weeks. He was arrested for domestic violence, and they split up. “I was in a destructive marriage. I was at the lowest point in my life. … I was not well. I couldn’t look people in the eyes. I literally couldn’t leave my house for weeks at a time.”

About seeking help from a PTSD specialist, she said, “There’s two ways out. You can take the bad way out or you can get help. I got help because I knew that I have felt good in my life and I knew I could get there again…If I didn’t get help, I probably wouldn’t be … I don’t know. I don’t wanna think like that. I think that reaching out saved my life. I don’t wanna think of any other outcome that could have happened. I feel like the more I talk about it, maybe it could reach somebody … reach somebody that feels alone.”

About her substance abuse, she continued, “I was partying so hard to numb emotions that I couldn’t handle at the time. I realized it was just prolonging the inevitable of dealing with them. And what you have to do, unfortunately, is just feel them, and that sucks. I thought that by doing drugs it would buy me time to feeling better. And when that wasn’t working, I just realized I was in this other cycle, and that I was creating it myself. And I realized I needed to cut all the darkness out of my life.”

She added that she does still smoke marijuana and drink, but, “I have different fun now — it’s not having fun out of pain.”

Elle‘s album, Shake the Spirit, is out on Friday.

Natalie Portman received a big honor at Variety’s Power Of Women event in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old actress stepped out for the luncheon on Friday (October 12) at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

She was joined at the event by Thandie Newton, Tiffanny Haddish and Alyssa Milano.

Other attendees included Lena Waithe, Olivia Culpo, John Stamos, Elle King and Bebe Rexha.

While taking the stage to accept her award, Natalie spoke out about seven guidelines she wanted the audience to live by, including not depicting violence against women in their projects, donating to Time’s Up and hiring three women in positions that they don’t ordinarily occupy.
