Erykah Badu Reveals Different Results for COVID-19 Tests She Took at Same Time

Erykah Badu is revealing the inconsistent test results that she got back after taking a COVID-19 test.

The 49-year-old Grammy-winning singer says that she was given one test in her left nostril and another test in her right nostril. The one on the left came back positive while the one on the right came back negative.

“No symptoms. Was tested for COVID. Same machine. Left nostril positive . Right nostril negative. Maybe they need to call Swiss Beats so they can do a versus between them. Funny thing is, Dr. ONLY reported the positive result. What the fack is goin on here. Rapid Test. $$$$ smh,” Erykah tweeted.

One possible explanation is that one nostril was given a rapid test and the other nostril was given a PCR test. The rapid tests are known to not be as reliable as the PCR tests. Also, people have commented in response to Erykah that it’s possible for a virus to grow in one nostril and take time before it spreads to the other nostril or lungs.

See which celeb just tested positive and said she hasn’t felt pain like this before.
