There may be a new Fast & Furious spinoff series in the works soon!
The film saga, which is set to come to an end with the upcoming two-part finale beginning with Fast X, has started to explore spinoff franchises, including 2019′s Hobbs & Shaw.
And in a new interview, Universal Pictures film chief Donna Langley spoke about the possibility of another.

John Cena and Scott Eastwood are hard at work on their upcoming movie Fast X, but local residents aren’t that happy about it.
The actors were spotted on the set of the upcoming Fast & Furious movie on Friday (August 26) in Los Angeles.
Deadline is reporting that protestors have showed up on the set of the movie as they feel the movie is glorifying illegal street racing in their neighborhood.
“It’s super, super, super dangerous,” one protestor said (via Deadline). “I mean, come on guys, it doesn’t take a smart person to figure out that if you lose control, you’re going to hit somebody or something.”
Protestors were seen holding signs that said “Make communities safe, street racing kills.”
Streets Are For Everyone executive director Damian Kevitt said, “I’m not saying we should get into a whole cancel culture on Fast and Furious, but what I am saying is that there needs to be some corporate responsibility by NBCUniversal and there needs to be responsibility by the city for addressing the illegal aspect of it.”

Vin Diesel is hard at work on Fast X.
The 55-year-old actor was seen filming for the latest installment of the Fast & Furious in Rome, Italy on Monday (July 18).
Vin wore a light gray button down with cut-off sleeves, dark jeans and black leather boots for his scenes. He was seen chatting with crew members while taking a break from filming.
The cast for Fast X includes Jason Momoa, Charlize Theron, Rita Moreno, Scott Eastwood and Brie Larson, as well as long time stars Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson.

Rita Moreno has joined the cast of Fast X!
It was announced on Tuesday (May 24) that the 90-year-old actress will play Vin Diesel‘s grandmother in the franchise’s latest installment.

Jason Momoa is wrapping up his time in Rome!
The 42-year-old Aquaman star was spotted going shirtless while heading to the set of Fast X on Saturday morning (May 14) in Rome, Italy.
This is Jason‘s final shoot day in Italy for Fast X before heading to another city.
Jason also shared some more exclusive photos with us from his time in Rome, including when he met co-star Michelle Rodriguez for the first time and when he toured the city with the Hells Angels motorcycle club.
On his Instagram Stories, Jason said that he recruited the Hells Angels to join him in Rome to get the paparazzi to leave him alone.
“I just want to show you my new tour guides. The other ones weren’t working out. We were just like ‘Man, the paparazzi are just so skilled here.’ So we’re at the Garden of Oranges, it’s beautiful here. Not one paparazzi in sight,” he wrote.

Alan Ritchson is joining the Fast & Furious franchise!
It was just announced that the 39-year-old Reacher actor has landed a role in the upcoming movie Fast X, the 10th installment in the popular series, according to Deadline.
Other newcomers to the cast for the upcoming sequel are Jason Momoa and Brie Larson. No details on Alan‘s role are known at this time.
“Really hope this doesn’t affect my car insurance,” Alan jokingly said while announcing the news on his Instagram page.
Alan is a hot talent right now thanks to the success of his Amazon Prime Video series Reacher. The show has already been renewed for a second season and the streamer even signed Alan for a three-picture deal.
Fast X is already filming and there were just some photos from the set earlier today!
