Adam Levine performs with The Beach Boys‘ Mike Love at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old Maroon 5 frontman performed “Surfer Girl” before introducing Foster the People who sang “Wouldn’t It Be Nice.”

The Beach Boys – Mike, Bruce Johnston, David Marks, Brian Wilson, and Al Jardine – then took the stage together and celebrated their 50th anniversary by treating the crowd to “Good Vibrations”!

Mark Foster, Mark Pontius, and Cubbie Fink of Foster the People hit the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

“It’s a little bit surreal, we’re still processing being here” the guys told JustJared.com about making it to the Grammys.

The band was nominated for two awards this evening, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Alternative Music Album, but didn’t win.

The 2012 Grammy Awards, hosted by LL Cool J, airs live TONIGHT at 8 p.m. on CBS!

Bassist Cubbie Fink and drummer Mark Pontius take on the role of the policemen in hot pursuit of the two who erratically drive around in an old hatchback.

We here at the JJ offices listen to this song 50 times a day – we love it! It’s Foster‘s latest single from their recent effort Torches.

Director Ace Norton helmed the vid, which mainly features frontman Mark Foster. Funny enough, the vid doesn’t make too much sense – just call it what you want!
