Gotham is just weeks away from its series finale and is giving fans a sneak peek at the two-episode series conclusion!

In a new teaser, fans get a look at a supernatural looking Joker (Cameron Monaghan) in full clown mode

“We feel a punchline coming on… HA! ha! hA! Ha! HA! 🃏 #AprilFoolsDay #Gotham,” the series wrote on their Twitter.

The series is set to conclude where Batman begins and previously confirmed the superhero’s appearance in a poster for the finale.

Gotham‘s final episodes air on April 18th and April 25th on Fox.

Filming for the final season of Gotham is underway!

Ben McKenzie suited up as James Gordon while filming a fight scene on Tuesday afternoon (August 7) in Brooklyn, New York.

Joining the 39-year-old actor on set were his co-stars Donal Logue and Erin Richards as they spent the afternoon filming.

Back in May, Gotham was renewed for a fifth and final season.

The final season will focus on “Bruce Wayne’s transformation into the caped crusader,” and will run for 13 episodes.

FOX hasn’t announced the premiere date for season five yet.

Gotham is coming back for one last season!

The Batman prequel drama series will return for a fifth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The series co-stars Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, David Mazouz and Sean Pertwee.

The final season will focus on “Bruce Wayne’s transformation into the caped crusader,” and reportedly run for 13 episodes, although an announcement has not yet been made on the episode count just yet.

If the renewal runs at least 13 episodes, the show will hit the 100-episode mark.

Ben McKenzie joins the cast of his hit show Gotham at their 2017 Comic-Con panel on Saturday afternoon (July 22) in San Diego, Calif.

The 38-year-old actor presented the season four trailer for the Fox series alongside Sean Pertwee, Camren Bicondova, Jessica Lucas, Cory Michael Smith, Erin Richards, Robin Lord Taylor, Alexander Siddig, and Drew Powell.

It was announced during the panel that Teen Wolf alum Crystal Reed is joining the show as Sofia Falcone, the daughter of Don Falcone. “Strong, intelligent and calculating, she has run the Falcone operation in the south for the past 10 years and is returning to Gotham to help Gordon take down Penguin,” according to Deadline.

Earlier in the day, the cast stopped by SiriusXM’s Entertainment Weekly Radio broadcast.

Fox just picked up two of its series for another season.

The network announced that both Gotham and The Last Man on Earth will be back for their respective fourth seasons, according to Variety.

“So proud of our @Gotham cast and crew! And the biggest thanks of all to you guys, the fans, for making this possible! #GothamSeason4 🎉�’�,” Ben McKenzie tweeted.

In case you missed the news, Fox decided to cancel Sleepy Hollow after four seasons on the air.

Ben McKenzie looks a bit worried as he takes a phone call while filming Gotham season three on Monday (August 22) in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City.

The 37-year-old actor was joined on set by Donal Logue, Michael Chiklis and new cast mate Kieran Mulcare, who filmed a separate scene.

Kieran will reportedly be playing the role of Solomon Grundy, according to IGN.

You may recognize Kieran from another comic book show, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, where he played Ruben.

Gotham season three will premiere September 19 on Fox.

Gotham will be back for another season!

According to Variety, Fox has picked up the Batman prequel series, starring Ben McKenzie, Donal Logue, David Mazouz, and Morena Baccarin, for season three.

“It takes a very special team to tell the tales of Gotham,” David Madden, entertainment president of Fox Broadcasting, said in a statement. “For the past two seasons, Bruno [Heller], Danny [Cannon], and John [Stephens] have masterfully honored the mythology of Gotham and brought it to life with depth, emotion and memorable high drama. This incredibly talented cast has redefined these iconic characters for a new generation, and we couldn’t be more proud of this show.”

Gotham is still currently filming its second season in New York City.
