Bill Clinton Poses With Hospital Staff After Leaving Hospital Following Infection

Bill Clinton makes his way out of the hospital with wife Hillary Clinton by his side at UC Irvine Medical Center in Irvine, Calif., on Sunday (October 17).

The former President of the United States wore his face mask as he exited the hospital, before meeting with key health professionals who helped to take care of him during his time inside the facility.

“President Clinton was discharged from UC Irvine Medical Center today,” Dr. Alpesh N. Amin, who had overseen the team of doctors that treated Bill, wrote in a statement. “His fever and white blood cell count are normalized and he will return home to New York to finish his course of antibiotics.”

“On behalf of everyone at UC Irvine’s Medical Center, we were honored to have treated him and will continue to monitor his progress,” the statement concluded, via People.

Every Living Former President, Except Donald Trump, Participates in Coronavirus Vaccine Campaign

Every living former President, except for Donald Trump, including Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama teamed up for a campaign urging Americans to get the coronavirus vaccine. Their respective first ladies including Rosalynn Carter, Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush, and Michelle Obama, were also featured in the campaign.

In the video, Bush can be heard saying it will “soon be available to everyone,” with Obama saying it “will protect you and those you love from this dangerous and deadly disease.”

The pandemic has claimed the lives of over 500,000 Americans since it started last March. We’re on the one year anniversary that the deadly virus caused mass lockdowns across the country.

Watch the brand new ad campaign, and be sure to speak with your doctor about the COVID-19 vaccine.

Hillary Clinton Calls UK Tabloids Treatment of Meghan Markle 'Outrageous' Following Her Interview with Oprah Winfrey

Hillary Clinton is opening up about her thoughts after watching Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s interview with Oprah Winfrey over the weekend, and slamming the treatment of the couple, particularly Meghan, by British tabloids.

“I found it so heart-rending to watch,” the former Secretary of State said during a Washington Post Live event on Monday (March 8).

Hillary added that it was particularly “heartbreaking” that Meghan was not “fully embraced” not just by “the permanent bureaucracy that surrounds the royal family, but by the media in the UK.”

She continued, “You know I’ve had my time in the box with the British tabloids, as anybody who is in the public eye has had. And their cruelty in going after Meghan was just outrageous and the fact she did not get more support, that the reaction was, ‘Let’s just paper it over and pretend that it didn’t happen or it will go away, just keep your head down.’ Well, you know, this young woman was not about to keep her head down. You know, this is 2021 and she wanted to live her life, she wanted to be fully engaged and she had every right to hope for that.”

Hillary also urged media to make space for up and coming young people, “particularly young women, who should not be forced into a mold that is no longer relevant, not only for them, but for our society.”

She notes of the interview that it was “heartbreaking to see the two of them sitting there having to describe how difficult it was to be accepted, to be integrated, not just into the royal family as they described, but more painfully into the larger societies whose narrative is driven by tabloids that are living in the past.”

Hillary concluded, “I just hope that there will be some serious thoughtful consideration in all of the institutions, not just in response to what Meghan and Harry were talking about, but literally across all of our societies.”
