Shia LaBeouf poses with his young co-star Noah Jupe at the premiere of their new movie Honey Boy on Tuesday (November 5) at the Arclight in Hollywood.

The actors were joined at the event by director Alma Har’el and co-star Byron Bowers.

Shia wrote the film about his own life experiences and he stars in the movie as the character inspired by his own father. Noah and Lucas Hedges share the role inspired by Shia.

Honey Boy, which hits theaters in limited release on November 8, has been earning rave reviews and it currently is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with 96%.

Shia LaBeouf is discussing his new film!

The 33-year-old actor joined director Alma Ha’rel at the premiere of Honey Boy during the 2019 Mill Valley Film Festival on Wednesday (October 9) in Larksbur, Calif.

During the premiere, the two participated in a Q&A for attendees.

The 33-year-old actor was in attendance at the European premiere of his movie Honey Boy on Sunday (October 6) during the 2019 BFI London Film Festival at the Vue West End in London, United Kingdom.

Shia joined producers Chris Leggett and Anita Gou and co-stars Noah Jupe, Lucas Hedges, Byron Bowers and director Alma Har’el on the red carpet for the big event.

Shia LaBeouf suits up while walking the red carpet at the Honey Boy premiere held during the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 10) at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada.

The 33-year-old actor wrote the film and based it on his own experiences as a child actor. He even plays the role inspired by his father.

The character inspired by Shia is played by Lucas Hedges at age 22 and Noah Jupe at age 12. They joined him at the premiere, as did co-star Byron Bowers and director Alma Har’el.

The movie co-stars Noah Jupe and Lucas Hedges, and recently won the U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award for Vision and Craft at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.

The movie follows a young actor’s stormy childhood and early adult years as he struggles to reconcile with his father through cinema and dreams. Noah and Lucas play Otis Lort, navigating different stages in a frenetic career.

Shia plays a version of his own father, an ex-rodeo clown and a felon. FKA twigs is also making her cinematic debut, playing a neighbor and kindred spirit to the younger Otis in their garden-court motel home.
