Jessica Alba‘s smooth moves as Honey Daniels in 2003′s Honey earned her praise when the movie came out, but more recently her daughters Haven, 12, and Honor, 15, have dubbed the choreography cringe.
If it’s been a while since you’ve seen the movie, the 42-year-old actress plays a choreographer who is chasing down her dreams. Of course, that means that there are quite a few dance routines throughout it.
After her daughters criticized her dance moves on TikTok, she sat them down to prove that she knows what she’s doing.

“They think I’m so cringey. They think I’m the most cringey mom, the definition of cringey. They actually said that I should use the hashtag #CringeyMom. I’m like, ‘That’s so mean! There are so many more cringey moms than me, guys!’ They’re like, ‘Even saying that, Mom, is cringey,’” she explained.
“For the first beginning of their life, they didn’t know that I was an actress. I remember when Honor was in like first grade, she was mortified and she came home and was like, ‘Why didn’t you tell me!’ She knew I was working at the Honest Company, that’s how they knew me,” she continued.
She also recalled Honor saying at the time, “‘You never told me you’d be in grocery stores and in Target!’ ”
“A friend had brought a magazine to school and put Honor on blast, and Honor was like ‘What is going on? Why are you on this magazine? What is happening here? So I had to break it to her that I was an actress and sometimes I do the magazines — and she felt so betrayed!”
“My friend was over and he took the photo and he was like, no, no, no, she’s she’s taller. He was like, Honor, you’re taller than your mom. I was like, no, no, she’s not. I was like, almost. I’m like, Oh no, she’s getting there. And he’s like, no, no, she’s taller than you. I’m like, no, she’s not. And he was like, no, no, really? And then we’re back to back. Just, I fell apart,” she explained.
“I just started crying and he was like, that is hilarious. And he started taking pictures, but yeah, she’s taller than me. I mean, literally over COVID she went from like a size seven to like a nine shoe. And she went from being 5’4, and she’s like 5’6 1/2, 5’7. It’s crazy. It’s like, Honor, you don’t understand. Like, I like you were here. Like you were this, you were this little nugget and I just like, you were just my baby.”
In the post, Jessica is seen in tears after realizing that Honor, her 12-year-old daughter with husband Cash Warren, is now taller than her.
“The moment you realize your number 1 baby is taller than you 😩😩😩,” Jessica captioned the sweet post. She welcomed Honor back in June of 2008, a month after tying the knot. They also have daughter Haven, 9, and Hayes, 2.
Jessica and husband Cash Warren recently got candid about their parenting styles.
“One thing that Jessica and I are 100 percent aligned on is that we’re not raising a–holes. If they get out of line, we’re not going to stand for it. We’ve tried to maintain the values our parents taught us,” Cash said. See what else they said!
