Dakota Johnson and Tracee Ellis Ross‘ movie Covers has a brand new title: The High Note!

We found out this news on the movie’s newly released poster. The trailer will debut tomorrow.

Set in the dazzling world of the LA music scene comes the story of Grace Davis (Ross), a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights. Maggie (Johnson) is Grace’s overworked personal assistant who’s stuck running errands, but still aspires to her childhood dream of becoming a music producer. When Grace’s manager (Ice Cube) presents her with a choice that could alter the course of her career, Maggie and Grace come up with a plan that could change their lives forever.

The film will hit theaters on May 8, 2020.

Ice Cube & Snoop Dogg Remember Their Late Friend Kobe Bryant (Video)

Ice Cube is opening up about the memory of Kobe Bryant.

The rapper and actor made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday (February 7), which was guest-hosted by Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg.

During his appearance, Ice talked about meeting Snoop at his debut album release party on a yacht, and they opened up about the loss of their friend, Kobe.

Then, in honor of Ice Cube’s basketball league BIG3’s creation of a new sport, FIREBALL3, the three played a game which required Martha to take shots of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky.

Dakota Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross & Ice Cube Arrive to the Set of Upcoming Movie 'Covers'!

Dakota Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross and Ice Cube are getting ready to work.

The three stars were all spotted arriving to the set of their new movie Covers on Tuesday (July 15) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The Nisha Ganatra-directed movie is described as a love story set in the Los Angeles music industry, and is set to be released sometime in 2020. Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Zoe Chao are also set to co-star.

Jamie Foxx & Vin Diesel Support Director F. Gary Gray at Walk of Fame Ceremony!

F. Gary Gray had tons of support on hand at his Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony!

The 49-year-old director was joined by pals Jamie Foxx, Vin Diesel, Ice Cube, and Tyrese Gibson at the unveiling of his star on Tuesday afternoon (May 28) in Hollywood, Calif.

“This is an incredible, incredible honor. It really truly is,” Gary said during the ceremony. “Wow. To place this star even near, let alone alongside some of the greatest artists of all time — I really, really, truly am honored to be mentioned alongside you guys. Wow.”

Gary has directed box office hits like The Fate of the Furious, Straight Outta Compton, and Law Abiding Citizen.

His upcoming movie Men in Black: International hits theaters on June 14.

Sean Hayes & James Corden Perform 'Little Drummer Boy' Parody About Michael Rapaport - Watch Here!

Sean Hayes joined James Corden for a hilarious Michael Rapaport-inspired performance of “Little Drummer Boy” on Monday night’s (December 10) episode of The Late Late Show!

“I really love this time of year, don’t you?” host James asked. “I certainly do, James. Christmastime is always full of such warmth and joy,” said Hayes.

The segment nodded the famous Bing Crosby and David Bowie video of them performing their 1977 cover of the song. In the original video, Bowie visited a friend’s house and mistook Crosby for the butler.

The 49-year-old entertainer talked about celebrating his birthday with tequila and chimichangas, describes what it’s like being the first rapper to play the Sydney Opera House and gives the Tonight Show audience a BIG3 surprise.

Ice Cube also broke down when his family members decide to use his stage name and his real name, O’Shea Jackson Sr..

“They use my real name unless it’s like a movie premiere or they want something and they’ll be like, ‘Hey Cube, I want to go to Jamaica’,” Cube said. “My kids don’t use my name enough.”
