Priyanka Chopra is mourning the loss of Bollywood star Irrfan Khan, who passed away at the age of 53.

“The world will always remember your legacy #irrfankhan . You fought like a warrior.. Rest in peace my friend.. My condolences to the family,” Priyanka posted on her Instagram account.

On her Twitter account, she added, “The charisma you brought to everything you did was pure magic. Your talent forged the way for so many in so many avenues.. You inspired so many of us. #IrrfanKhan you will truly be missed. Condolences to the family.”

Priyanka and Irrfan starred in 2011′s 7 Khoon Maaf.

Bollywood star Irrfan Khan has tragically passed away at the age of 53.

He passed away on Wednesday (April 29) at a hospital in Mumbai, India after suffering from a colon infection this week. In 2018, he was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour.

His family released a statement to Deadline, saying, “’I trust, I have surrendered’; These were the some of the many words that Irrfan expressed in a heart-felt note he wrote in 2018 opening up about his fight with cancer. And a man of few words and an actor of silent expressions with his deep eyes and his memorable actions on screen. It’s saddening that this day, we have to bring forward the news of him passing away. Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him. After having been struck by lightning in 2018 with the news of a rare cancer, he took life soon after as it came and he fought the many battles that came with it. Surrounded by his love, his family for whom he most cared about, he left for heaven abode, leaving behind truly a legacy of his own. We all pray and hope that he is at peace. And to resonate and part with his words he had said,’“As if I was tasting life for the first time, the magical side of it.’”

You may recognize Irrfan from his work in films like Slumdog Millionaire, Life of Pi, Jurassic World, The Lunchbox, and so many more. RIP.

Felicity Jones keeps it chic and sophisticated while attending the photo call for her latest film Inferno held at Palazzo Vecchio on Thursday (October 6) in Florence, Italy.

The 32-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Tom Hanks, Omar Sy, Dan Brown, Irrfan Khan and director Ron Howard.

“I felt totally embraced by him,” Felicity expressed about working with Tom (via Telegraph). “He is so unegotistical – he hasn’t been in any way corrupted by fame.”

Tom Hanks and Melissa McCarthy get together for a photograph while attending Sony’s Marina Bay Sands Art OutReach Benefit held at Sky on 57 at Marina Bay Sands on Tuesday (June 14) in Singapore.

The 59-year-old actor and Melissa, 45, were joined by Tom‘s Inferno co-star Irrfan Khan and director Ron Howard, as well as Melissa‘s Ghostbusters director Paul Feig at the event held to raise funds and awareness for over 80 Singapore-based charities.

The day before, Tom posted a photo on Twitter of the trio starting out on their press tour.

“Irrfan Khan. Ron Howard. Some guy. Promoting Inferno,” Tom wrote. “Let the social media barrage begin!”

A brand new trailer for the highly anticipated movie was just released and it looks awesome. Further plot details that were revealed show that the film revolves around an advanced minded dinosaur that escapes confinement and starts terrorizing the park.

Jurassic World is going to be released in theaters on June 12 and it also stars Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, BD Wong, and Judy Greer.
