Charlize Theron, Issa Rae, and Margot Robbie were among the many stars who stepped out for The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Breakfast Gala!

Many stars walked the red carpet for the annual event on Wednesday morning (December 7) at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

The annual breakfast coincided with the publication of The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Power 100 Women in Entertainment list, and celebrated the accomplishments of entertainment leaders and changemakers in Hollywood.

Charlize was honored with the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award and Issa was recognized with the Equity in Entertainment Award.

Seth Rogen presented the award to Charlize and she said in her acceptance speech, “I take this leadership award less as a mark of accomplishment, but more as a challenge to keep doing the work. I want us to keep each other accountable, use each other as resources and push each other to keep using our voices and platforms for something greater than ourselves.”

Issa‘s Insecure co-star Yvonne Orji presented the award to her and said, “There are a few things you can bet that Issa Rae will always do…But what stands out most for me, is her unfailing support of the marginalized, her extreme selflessness, her dogged belief that everyone can win and people of color should have the same opportunity to fail and be given another chance at success—because that’s true equality.”

Meghan Markle‘s latest episode of her podcast Archetypes welcomed Issa Rae and Ziwe Fumudoh where they discussed the stereotype of the “angry Black woman.”

In the new episode, the Duchess revealed that she did a Genealogy test and explained the results that came back.

In addition, she spoke about being a “particular” person and went on to clarify the adjustments she has made that do not make her “demanding’ or “difficult.”

The stars are stepping out for the 2022 Wearable Art Gala!

Kelly Rowland, Quinta Brunson, and Issa Rae joined tons of other stars at the event hosted by Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson on Saturday evening (October 22) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The theme for this year’s big event was “Harlem Nights,” and all of the guests celebrated the fashions of the 1920s-50s.

Keke Palmer served as emcee for the evening, which honored Angela Bassett and visual artist Mark Bradford. During the event, Chloe X Halle and Andra Day took to the stage for performances.

There were so many celebs in attendance at the Elle Women in Hollywood event!

Some of our favorite stars were among the honorees at the annual event on Monday night (October 17) at the Getty Center in Los Angeles.

Mindy Kaling, Keke Palmer, Kristen Bell, Kerry Washington, Kate Berlant, Maude Apatow and Charlize Theron presented to Anne Hathaway, Issa Rae, Sigourney Weaver, Ariana DeBose, Olivia Wilde, Sydney Sweeney, and Michelle Yeoh respectively.

Naomi Watts also introduced the inaugural Amyris Impact Award, which was given to Ariana DeBose.

Nick Kroll hosted the celebration and he was joined at the event by wife Lily Kwong.

In addition to being feted at the annual awards dinner, the honorees are also featured on individual covers of Elle’s November 2022 Women in Hollywood issue, on newsstands November 1st.

Issa Rae is calling out the people in Hollywood who have been making an effort to save Ezra Miller‘s career amid all of the controversy surrounding the actor.

For some backstory, Ezra was arrested multiple times in Hawaii this year for assault, was accused of harassing a woman in Germany, was accused of choking someone in Iceland, was accused of hosting three young children and their mom in Vermont in an “unsafe environment,” was charged with felony burglary in Vermont, and was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a young person they met at age 12.

In a new interview about the post-Me Too era, Issa called out enablers in Hollywood who didn’t take action to shut down Ezra and their movie The Flash.

Issa Rae took over the red carpet in a chic black and white dress at the 2022 Emmy Awards on Monday night (September 12) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old actress waved to cameras and showed off her copper blunt bob hairstyle before heading inside for the ceremony.

Tonight, Issa is up for two awards: Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Insecure and Outstanding Variety Sketch Series for being the executive producer of A Black Lady Sketch Show.

Make sure to tune in for the Emmys at 8 ET/5 PT on NBC. The show is being hosted by Kenan Thompson and Succession leads the pack this year with 25 total nominations, followed by Ted Lasso and The White Lotus, which each have 20 nods.

The stars are stepping out during Emmy Weekend!

Sydney Sweeney reunited with her The White Lotus mom Connie Britton at the Glamour x Tory Burch Luncheon on Saturday afternoon (September 10) at Holloway House in West Hollywood, Calif.

Other stars in attendance included Insecure actress Issa Rae, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress Rachel Brosnahan, Hacks actress Hannah Einbinder, Partner Track actress Arden Cho, Chad actress Nasim Pedrad, and Yellowjackets actress Melanie Lynskey.

Abbott Elementary stars Quinta Brunson, Janelle James, and Sheryl Lee Ralph were also in attendance.
