Director Sam Taylor-Johnson and her husband, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, arrive for the world premiere of her film, Back To Black, held at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Monday (April 8) in London, England.

Also at the event that day were the film’s stars, Marisa Abela, who portrays the late Amy Winehouse in the film, as well as Jack O’Connell and Eddie Marsan.

Here’s the official synopsis: The extraordinary story of Amy Winehouse’s early rise to fame from her early days in Camden through the making of her groundbreaking album, Back to Black that catapulted Winehouse to global fame. Told through Amy’s eyes and inspired by her deeply personal lyrics, the film explores and embraces the many layers of the iconic artist and the tumultuous love story at the center of one of the most legendary albums of all time. Aaron, 33, recently responded to the backlash over the age gap between him and Sam, 57. If you don’t know, they met and fell in love after she directed him in the 2009 John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy.

They share two daughters: Wylda was born in 2010 and Romy was born in 2012. Sam and Aaron married in 2012.

Matt Bomer joined Andrew Garfield and Jamie Dornan at the Loewe Menswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 Fashion Show on Saturday afternoon (January 20) in Paris, France.

Adam Driver is stepping out for the premiere of his new movie.

The 40-year-old Oscar-nominated actor joined co-stars Penelope Cruz and Shailene Woodley at the premiere of Ferrari on Monday (December 4) at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, England.

Fellow cast members Patrick Dempsey, with wife Jillian, and Jack O’Connell were also in attendance.

Marisa Abela just filmed an emotional moment in Amy Winehouse‘s life for the upcoming biopic about the late singer.

New photos from set show Marisa sobbing hysterically while Amy‘s husband Blake Fielder-Civil, played by Jack O’Connell, is dragged away in handcuffs. The scene was shot on Friday morning (January 20) in London, England.

The upcoming movie Back to Black has full support from Amy‘s estate.

A source told MailOnline, “The film will focus on Amy and her incredible talent. There are highs and lows in Amy‘s story that the film won’t shy away from. But what we are left with is Amy‘s amazing songs and music, that’s what ultimately the film will show and what will always be remembered.”

Blake was arrested in 2007 over trial-fixing allegations. He was accused of assaulting a barman and then allegedly tried the bribe the accuser to drop the charges.
