Sing Street is about a 14-year-old boy growing up in Dublin during the 1980s who escapes his strained family life by starting a band after inviting a beautiful girl to star in the music video for his band, which doesn’t exist yet.

The search for the star of Disney’s upcoming young Han Solo movie has been narrowed down to three actors, THR reports!

The final shortlist includes Alden Ehrenreich, Jack Reynor and Taron Egerton.

The three actors were reportedly taking part in costume or screen testing in London last weekend.

The actors are the remaining contenders from an initial pool of around 2,500 hopefuls. A narrowed-down group of around 10 actors, which included Ansel Elgort and Miles Teller, had reportedly been meeting with directors previously.

The upcoming Disney and Lucasfilm movie is set for a 2018 release.

Michael Fassbender suits up in blue while attending the premiere of his new movie Macbeth held at Edinburgh Festival Theatre on Sunday (September 27) in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The 38-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Jack Reynor (with partner Madeline Mulqueen), David Thewlis, and Paddy Considine, as well as director Justin Kurzel.

Earlier in the day, Michael and the cast stepped out for the film’s photo call at Edinburgh Castle.

Macbeth of course follows the duke of Scotland, who receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King.

Jack Reynor and Theo James get some tips from director Jim Sheridan while filming for The Secret Scripture in Dublin, Ireland on Thursday evening (January 22).

The two actors joined Rooney Mara on the set, all while trying to keep warm in the sand dunes.

The next day, Theo, Jack and Rooney moved to city centre to film additional scenes.

The movie, based on the novel of the same name by Sebastian Barry, centers on a 100-year-old woman, Roseanne McNulty, who now resides in the Roscommon Regional Mental Hospital. Having been a patient for some fifty years or more, Roseanne decides to write an autobiography. She calls it ‘Roseanne’s testimony of herself’ and charts her life and that of her parents, living in Sligo at the turn of the 20th Century.
