Avengers: Endgame has dethroned Titanic as the second-highest grossing film of all time, and Titanic‘s director, James Cameron, has reacted to the news.

“To [Marvel Studios president] Kevin [Feige] and everybody at Marvel,” James wrote on Twitter. “An iceberg sank the real Titanic. It took the Avengers to sink my ‘Titanic.’ Everyone here at Lightstorm Entertainment salutes your amazing achievement. You’ve shown the movie industry is not only alive and well, it’s bigger than ever!”

Endgame surpassed Titanic when it earned $2.3 billion at the box office. The number one top-grossing movie of all time also happens to be a James Cameron film: Avatar. Avatar grossed $2.78 billion at the box office.

The event featured exclusive wardrobe pieces from the AMUR x RCGD debut collection. The collection features six looks, revealed last night for the first time, and were displayed in a curated presentation created by Oh Mannequin.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher sit in the VIP section to watch their friend Zoe Saldana receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (May 3) in Hollywood.

Mila, who worked with Zoe in the 2007 movie After Sex, spoke at the event to honor her pal.

“I admire you as a person, a wife, a sister, a mother, a businesswoman and an actress. While the world knows you for the characters you have played, I have the privilege of knowing the working mom behind-the-scenes,” Mila said during the speech.

Zoe‘s Avatar director James Cameron also spoke at the event while her Guardians of the Galaxy co-stars Pom Klementieff and Karen Gillan both showed their support by attending.

James Cameron is breaking his silence on Eliza Dushku‘s claims that True Lies stunt coordinator Joel Kramer sexually assaulted her when she was 12-years-old.

While attending the 2018 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour on Saturday (January 13), the 63-year-old director and writer of True Lies called the 37-year-old actress “brave” for coming forward with her story.

“I haven’t given a lot of thought to this specific situation because I just heard about. Obviously, Eliza is very brave for speaking up,” James said. “I think all the women are that are speaking up and calling for a reckoning now. I think this has been endemic throughout human systems, not just Hollywood.”

Earlier today, Eliza shared an open letter, recounting how Joel molested her on set of the 1994 movie. Joel recently slammed the allegations, calling them “atrocious lies.”

“But had I known about it, there would’ve been no mercy,” James continued. “Now, especially that I have daughters, there’s really no mercy.”
