Kim Matula has landed an exciting new movie role in the upcoming film SNL 1975 directed by Jason Reitman.
The 35-year-old actress is best known for playing Hope Logan on the soap opera series The Bold and the Beautiful and for appearances in Hallmark Channel movies Ghost of Christmas Always and Checkin’ It Twice.
Kim also played Jeri-Lynn in the WWE movie Fighting with My Family opposite Florence Pugh.

Jane Curtin is opening up about her days on Saturday Night Live.
If you don’t know, the 75-year-old actor was one of the original stars of the NBC comedy sketch show, alongside Laraine Newman, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Dan Aykroyd, Garrett Morris, and Chevy Chase.
In a new interview, Jane got candid and admitted she didn’t think the show was actually funny then.

The new indie movie Jules is now in theaters and it has been winning over audiences for the past few days since its release!
The sci-fi comedy has an 85% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and the audience score is even better at 91%.
Jules follows Milton (Ben Kingsley) who lives a quiet life of routine in a small western Pennsylvania town, but finds his day upended when a UFO and its extra-terrestrial passenger crash land in his backyard. Before long, Milton develops a close relationship with the extra-terrestrial he calls “Jules.” Things become complicated when two neighbors (Harriet Sansom Harris and Jane Curtin) discover Jules and the government quickly closes in.
Director Marc Turtletaub chose to have a stunt actor wear makeup and prosthetics to play Jules instead of using CGI to create the alien!

Kate & Allie is coming back!
The classic ’80s sitcom is getting a reboot at NBC, Variety reported on Friday (January 29).
The updated series comes from writer and Fresh Off the Boat producer Erica Oyama.
Here’s a plot summary: “It follows two best friends raising their kids together in one household. They are like sister wives, only they don’t have to pretend to love the same man with bad hair. Through their unconventional arrangement, the two prove romance isn’t necessary to be a successful woman and mother.”
The original Kate and Allie series aired on CBS from 1984-1989 for six seasons and over 120 episodes, starring Susan Saint James and Jane Curtin in the title roles.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler reunited behind the Weekend Update desk for the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Celebration held at Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday (February 15) in New York City.
