Janet Jackson shared a special moment with Tom Cruise.
The 56-year-old “So Excited” music icon is currently in the midst of her Together Again Tour, and the 60-year-old Top Gun: Maverick star cheered her on in the audience on Friday (May 12) in Charlotte, North Carolina.
After the show wrapped up, she hopped on social media to share a photo of the pair.

Janet Jackson got an apology she didn’t ask for.
The 56-year-old singer’s concert had to be postponed last week because the Atlanta Hawks forced a Game 6 with the Boston Celtics in Atlanta, where she was supposed to have a concert.
“I want to send an apology to the legend, Janet Jackson,” Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum said after they won Game 6 in Atlanta.

Janet Jackson just kicked off her 2023 Together Again Tour and she performed 40 songs on the opening night.
We have the full set list, which includes a bunch of songs that she has never performed live before or hasn’t sung in years. She even sang “Together Again” three times.
The show began with the song “Damita Jo” from her 2004 album of the same name and this marked Janet‘s first time singing it live!
The tour kicked off on Friday night (April 14) at Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, Florida and Janet will travel around the country through June 21.

Janet Jackson is interested in turning her life into a TV show, according a new report.
The 56-year-old Control superstar is “currently in talks” with multiple script writers about a television project about her life, The Sun reported.
“Janet and her team are in talks with writers hoping to find the right one to pen a biopic. US TV channel Lifetime are interested. The story would document Janet’s privileged yet difficult beginnings, rise to stardom and her relationship with her brother Michael Jackson,” a source said.

Janet Jackson‘s nephew TJ Jackson set the story straight after he appeared to diss his aunt’s performances for being “overly sexualized.”
In a series of since-deleted tweets, TJ opened up about a video of Janet performing her song “Would You Mind” on tour.
“I never liked when she did this in concerts,” he wrote, adding that he preferred “‘That’s the Way Love Goes’ Janet” to the more overtly sexual image she was portraying in the performance, according to Vibe.
After generating headlines that he was dissing her, TJ took to social media again to clear the air.
