Inventing Anna is coming.

The Netflix show, which comes from Shonda Rhimes, is set to premiere on the streamer on February 11, 2022, and the first trailer arrived Monday (November 22).

The first look at Inventing Anna, Shonda Rhimes‘ new Netflix series, has finally debuted!

In Inventing Anna, a journalist with a lot to prove investigates the case of Anna Delvey, the Instagram-legendary German heiress who stole the hearts of New York’s social scene – and stole their money as well. But is Anna New York’s biggest con woman, or is she simply the new portrait of the American dream? Anna and the reporter form a dark, funny, love-hate bond as Anna awaits trial and our reporter fights the clock to answer the biggest question in NYC: who is Anna Delvey? The series is inspired by the New York Magazine article “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People” by Jessica Pressler, who also serves as a producer.

Anna Chlumsky (Vivian), Julia Garner (Anna Delvey), Arian Moayed (Todd), Katie Lowes (Rachel), Alexis Floyd (Neff), Anders Holm (Jack), Anna Deavere Smith (Maud), Jeff Perry (Lou), Terry Kinney (Barry), and Laverne Cox (Kacy) star in the new show, set to debut sometime in 2022.

Jeff Perry is returning to Grey’s Anatomy as Thatcher Grey for the show’s 15th season!

If you don’t know, Thatcher is Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo)’s father, who was absent for her childhood. He is also the father to Lexie (Chyler Leigh) and Molly (Mandy Siegfried). He last appeared on the show in season 7, and the details of his return are unknown at this time, EW reports.

No other details have become immediately available. Stay tuned as we find out more.

In the meantime, Shonda Rhimes recently revealed that they tried to get another actor to return to the show – but it didn’t work out!

The film, based on the true story of the infamous 1892 axe murder of the Borden family in Fall River, Mass., is set to hit theaters on September 14.

The movie was directed by Craig William Macneill and stars Chloë Sevigny, Kristen Stewart, Jamey Sheridan, Fiona Shaw, Kim Dickens, Denis O’Hare and Jeff Perry.

Chloe stars as Lizzie Borden, the notorious woman at the heart of one of the most enduring mysteries in American history. After a lifetime of loneliness, Lizzie finds a kindred spirit in housemaid Bridget Sullivan (Stewart) and their secret intimacy sparks an unthinkable act.

Scandal may have ended, but the cast will forever be friends and they proved that by taking a vacation to Mexico over Memorial Day weekend!

Kerry Washington, Scott Foley, Bellamy Young, George Newbern, Tony Goldwyn, Katie Lowes, and Jeff Perry, along with some of their significant others, enjoyed an epic weekend at Impression at Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita Rivera Maya in Mexico.

The group of 12 booked all of the villas at Impression, which is basically a resort within a resort. Suites range in size from 832 to 2,027 square feet and are crafted with the utmost attention to detail, from hand-selected furniture, art and décor to exclusive dining rooms and terraces offering perfect sunset views. A plunge pool and outdoor shower complete the oasis experience in every room. You can take a look inside the rooms in the photo gallery.

“Reunited! And yes, it feels soooooooo good 🤣! Love hanging with my #ScandalFam in Mexico at @zoetryresorts #ZoetryParaiso Impression. Much needed time together! XOXOXOXOXOXO,” Kerry wrote on Instagram.

Shonda Rhimes and the cast of Scandal celebrated the series finale of their hit ABC show on Thursday night (April 19) with a special appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Stars Kerry Washington, Guillermo Diaz, Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes, Tony Goldwyn, Jeff Perry, Joshua Malina, Bellamy Young, Scott Foley, Joe Morton, Cornelius Smith Jr. and George Newbern were all in attendance.

Kerry and Shonda came out first, and recalled how casting her as Olivia Pope went down: “I remember you first coming in,” Shonda said on the show, turning to Kerry. “Kerry first came in, and I had been meeting like all of these actresses.”

“Everybody wanted this part,’ Kerry added. “But you came in and it was amazing!” said Shonda. ‘It was literally like two seconds in, you started talking about politics and I knew I wanted Kerry for the part.”

Shonda also reveals that, yes, she knows what that ending means, and no, she’s never telling. “I get one last thing to say is a spoiler that I get to hold onto ’til the end of my life,” Shonda said – Watch all the videos below!
