Novak Djokovic just won the 2023 U.S. Open.

The 36-year-old Serbian tennis player defeated Daniil Medvedev to win the men’s final match on Sunday (September 10) at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City.

Novak just extended his record grand slam singles titles to 24 and celebrated the moment by paying tribute to his late friend Kobe Bryant, who wore the number 24 while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

After the big win, Novak shared hugs and kisses with his family, including wife Jelena and their two kids Stefan, 8, and Tara, 6. Check out the pics in the photo gallery!

Novak won the match in three straight sets, 6-3, 7-6, 6-3. He now matches Margaret Court‘s record for the most all-time grand slam titles and is just one title away from the record.

In a recent interview, Novak discussed his “zero regret” for skipping U.S. tournaments over his refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Novak ended up winning the match, securing his 13th grand slam title, his fourth at Wimbledon, winning 6-2, 6-2, 7-6. Congrats to Novak and Angelique on their wins!

Tom Hiddleston, Tom Holland, Eddie Redmayne and more were seated in the audience to watch the big match.

The 34-year-old tennis pro was joined at the event by her fellow tennis pro player Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena as they all sat in the front row.

Serena Williams keeps it cool and casual in a pair of jean shorts as she meets up with a few gal pals to grab lunch on Tuesday (September 20) in central Milan, Italy.

That same evening, the 34-year-old tennis player supported Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena at their 2016 Milano Gala Dinner benefiting the Novak Djokovic Foundation at Castello Sforzesco, where Anna Wintour and designer Giorgio Armani were also in attendance.

Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena are new parents!

The 27-year-old professional tennis player announced the birth of their son via Twitter on Wednesday morning (October 22).

“Stefan, our baby angel was born! I am so proud of my beautiful wife Jelena!” he wrote. “Thank you so much for your love and support. We love you all!!!”

Novak‘s official website also posted the news, writing, “We are delighted to announce that Jelena Djokovic gave birth to a wonderful, healthy and a lovely boy, called Stefan. The birth went in the best possible manner, baby and the mother feel well. Novak will spend the following several days with the baby and his wife Jelena, after which he travels to Paris, where he will compete at the ATP Masters tournament.”
