6 'Jersey Shore' Stars Are Parents, Another Froze Their Eggs & 1 Shared Big Baby News in 2024

The Jersey Shore family has expanded quite a bit over the years, and it’s already expanding in 2024!

Premiering in 2009, the reality show introduced fans to a group of friends who have kept the world captivated ever since. While their initial show ended in 2012, they got back together again for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in 2018.

By then, so many of the stars had started families of their own. That means that there is a whole new generation of talent in the making who can introduce so many more people to the concept of GTL and so much more!

In fact, Mike Sorrentino has previously told ET that he’d be down to watch their kids take over their own show one day. “Yeah, back-in-the-day type Jersey Shore. I would chaperone,” Deena Cortese agreed. “As they get older, I’ll just show him some things not to do like I did back in the day.”

'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation' Renewed for Season 7 at MTV

Jersey Shore Family Vacation has been renewed for a seventh season by MTV!

The original series ran from 2009 to 2012 before a revival series, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation debuted in 2018. The revival series saw each of the original cast members – Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Angelina Pivarnick, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Deena Cortese – return. At the time, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola opted not to return with her fellow cast mates.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is opening up about his drug use.

The 41-year-old Jersey Shore star got candid in his new memoir, Reality Check: Making the Best of The Situation — How I Overcame Addiction, Loss, and Prison, out on December 19.

In the memoir, he opens up about heroin use, entering rehab, getting addicted to drugs and making his way out from his addiction. He spoke to ET ahead of the memoir’s release to discuss the intense contents of his book.
