Jesse Palmer has been announced as the new host of The Bachelor!

ABC made the big announcement this afternoon, revealing that the 42-year-old former NFL star and Bachelor himself will take over the reins as the host of the show for the upcoming season in 2022.

As host, Jesse will step in to guide the latest Bachelor as he embarks on his journey to find love.

“For more than 20 years, The Bachelor has brought the world dozens of unforgettable love stories, including at one time, my own,” Jesse shared in a statement. “Falling in love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience and I am grateful to play a small part in his journey.”

In addition to hosting The Bachelor, Jesse will remain at ESPN as an analyst and continue his studio role during the 2021-2022 college football season.

Jesse was the fifth, and the franchise’s own Bachelor, meaning he wasn’t featured on a previous Bachelorette season. He was formerly the host of The Proposal.

He is currently engaged to Emely Fardo.

The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration is kicking off on Thursday night (November 28) on ABC and the ABC app, beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

The star-studded two-hour primetime special featuring plenty of holiday entertainment and performances airs from the Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Rest in Florida, as well as Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort in California.

Matthew Morrison, Emma Bunton and Jesse Palmer are co-hosting the magical event.

The event will also include sneak-peeks at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, opening in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on December 5 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida and January 17, 2020 at Disneyland in California.

Cardi B hits the red carpet as she arrives at the Fanatics Super Bowl Party on Saturday (February 2) at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Ga.

The 26-year-old rapper showed off her super toned stomach while wearing just a bra and pajama set as she stepped out for the party.

Nicki Minaj is calling out television personality Jesse Palmer, who is the host of DailyMailTV.

The 36-year-old rapper took to social media to send Jesse a message after he spoke about her on TV.

“You better have a good lawyer, #JessePalmer #ArnoldPalmer You just lied on me on nat’l TV & now you’re being sued. You better be able to back up what you just said about me with FACTS. #SuperFacts #Defamation,” Nicki posted on Instagram.

She then tweeted, “You going to jail 😂😂😂😂😂@JessePalmerTV,” and “The barbz are getting more tuition & student loan money after I sue this h*e.”

Nicki has been in the headlines recently for going public with her new boyfriend Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, a registered sex offender in New York.

Jesse Palmer is no stranger to looking for love on television and he’s comparing his experience on The Bachelor to hosting the new show The Proposal.

The 39-year-old former football player was the bachelor in season five and he picked Jessica Bowlin at the end, though he didn’t propose. They broke up a few months later.

“It is way less stressful hosting this show than being The Bachelor,” Jesse told ABC News about hosting The Proposal. “I sleep so much easier at night, it’s great.”

On the new series, an eligible bachelor or bachelorette must select someone to propose to from a pool of 10 contestants, by the end of the night!

“I’ve never seen anything like it, and I was very skeptical,” Jesse said. “Who is going to get down on one knee after speaking to someone that they haven’t even really been able to see for the last hour, and what I was shocked to find out was there are people out there hoping to find love that are willing to go to extreme measures to achieve this.”

An all-new dating reality series, The Proposal, is headed to ABC, and it’s being hosted by former Bachelor Jesse Palmer.

Each show in the 10-episode series will follow 10 eligible daters “as they attempt to woo the mystery suitor with their words in a first impressions round; bare their souls in a beachwear round; answer the mystery suitor’s most pressing romantic questions; and strive to receive a seal of approval from the mystery suitor’s most trusted family member in the final round.”

The show is from The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss.
