On Friday (July 7), the 49-year-old rapper announced the birth of her first child with wife Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart.
Da Brat gave birth to a baby boy, weighing in at 7lbs, 8oz and measuring 20in long on Thursday, July 6 at 8:30pm in Atlanta.

Da Brat has announced some exciting news – she and fiancée Jesseca Dupart are expecting their first baby!
The 47-year-old rapper and Jesseca, a businesswoman, shared the happy news on Instagram with a pair of selfies.
“We are EXTENDING the family🤰🏽” they captioned the post, which was shared on both of their accounts.
Da Brat and Jesseca got engaged last year and their engagement party was seen on their WETv series, Brat Loves Jesseca.
They also revealed that they would wed on February 22, and Da Brat even got a tattoo of the upcoming wedding date.

Da Brat is going to be getting candid about her sexuality.
The 46-year-old superstar will be joined by collaborator Jermaine Dupri as well as her girlfriend Jesseca Dupart to discuss going public with her sexuality on The Tamron Hall Show on Monday (February 1).

“I tell her all the time how beautiful she is. I tell her all the time just all of these different things that I won’t embarrass her too much on television but when I came into her life honestly it was kind of shocking to meet her and she did not know, she did not know that she was as beautiful as she is,” her girlfriend said of Da Brat in the clip.
“She did not know how valuable her heart was. She did not know a lot of things and it was just shocking to me, that how could you be this person, how could you be a legend, how could you be so successful and have all these things going on and really not know?”
“To see her in this space of just comfort, it just allows me to know that… it’s almost back to the same space that she was in when I first met her. She feels she’s at this point, invincible and she can do whatever she wants to do again,” Jermaine says of his friend.
“This is the first time I have ever heard JD mention anything, ever, in my whole life about who I’m dating, what I’m doing, who I’m seeing. They reached out to him to comment when I came out, he turned them down, he wasn’t doing interviews, he really doesn’t interfere with my life. He lets me live and do whatever it is I need to do to make myself happy,” Da Brat says.

The 45-year-old rapper and actress received an early birthday gift – a Bentley! – from her girlfriend Jesseca “Judy” Dupart, CEO and Founder of Kaleidoscope Hair Products, which doubled as confirmation of their relationship on Instagram on Thursday (March 26).

“I’ve always been a kind of private person until I met my heart’s match who handles some things differently than I do. Thank you baby @darealbbjudy for far more than this incredible birthday gift. I have never experienced this feeling. It’s so overwhelming that often I find myself in a daze hoping to never get pinched to see if it’s real so I can live in this dream forever,” she wrote.
