Joey King is starring in a new Hulu series and the press tour has begun!

The 24-year-old Emmy-nominated actress kicked off We Were the Lucky Ones press at the Disney International Showcase on Wednesday (February 7) at the Disney lot in Burbank, Calif.

Based on Georgia Hunter’s New York Times bestselling novel, the television adaptation of We Were the Lucky Ones is a limited series inspired by the incredible true story of one Jewish family separated at the start of World War II, determined to survive and reunite. The show will premiere on Hulu with three episodes on March 28, and new episodes launching weekly.

There’s some big Despicable Me 4 news!

The fourth entry in the popular animated film franchise is the first one released since 2017.

Per Universal and Illumination, the movie’s logline reads: “In the first Despicable Me movie in seven years, Gru, the world’s favorite supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League-agent, returns for an exciting, bold new era of Minions mayhem in Illumination’s Despicable Me 4.”

On Sunday (January 28), the first trailer for Despicable Me 4 was released.

Additionally, some new names were added to the cast!

Joey King is heading back to Hulu for the limited series We Were the Lucky Ones and the first look photos have been revealed!

The 24-year-old Emmy-nominated actress is teaming up with Bullet Train co-star Logan Lerman again for the new series, directed by Hamilton‘s Thomas Kail.

Joey King is speaking out for the first time since Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released from prison.

The 24-year-old actress portrayed Gypsy in the Hulu limited series The Act, which was released back in spring 2019.

Gypsy, who is a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, was released from prison on December 28 after serving eight years for her role in the murder of her mother.

Patricia Arquette, who played the mother in the series, has already spoken out about Gypsy‘s release and now Joey is sharing her thoughts as well.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is addressing the series based on her life.

Back in 2019, Hulu released their limited series The Act starring Joey King and Patricia Arquette, which chronicled the alleged abuse that Gypsy (King) endured from her mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard (Arquette), who was murdered by Gypsy’s then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn (Calum Worthy).

Following her release from prison, Gypsy revealed in a new interview if she plans on watching The Act.

It’s officially the holiday season and producer Jennifer Klein brought Hollywood stars together for her annual festive party this past weekend!

Joey King, Camila Mendes, Leslie Mann, and more were in attendance for the holiday event on Saturday night (December 2) at a private residence in Brentwood, Calif.

Joey King is reacting to Jacob Elordi‘s quote about The Kissing Booth films.

If you don’t know, the 24-year-old actress and 26-year-old actor co-starred in all three of the films in the Netflix series together.

Jacob made some controversial Kissing Booth comments in an article for GQ last month.

He said, “I didn’t want to make those movies before I made those movies. Those movies are ridiculous. They’re not universal. They’re an escape.”
