The trailer for True Detective: Night Country has finally arrived!

The fourth installment of the HBO series stars Jodie Foster and Kali Reis in the title roles.

Here’s the logline: When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.

Written and directed by Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz, it stars Dakota Johnson, Shia LaBeouf, Zack Gottsagen, John Hawkes, Thomas Haden Church, Jon Bernthal, and Bruce Dern.

Here’s the synopsis: “A modern Mark Twain style adventure story, The Peanut Butter Falcon tells the story of Zak (Gottsagen), a young man with Down syndrome, who runs away from a residential nursing home to follow his dream of attending the professional wrestling school of his idol, The Salt Water Redneck (Church).”

It continues, “A strange turn of events pairs him on the road with Tyler (LaBeouf), a small time outlaw on the run, who becomes Zak’s unlikely coach and ally. Together they wind through deltas, elude capture, drink whiskey, find God, catch fish, and convince Eleanor (Johnson), a kind nursing home employee charged with Zak’s return, to join them on their journey.”

Timothy Olyphant is all smiles as he joins his co-stars on the carpet at the premiere of HBO’s Deadwood: The Movie held at The Cinerama Dome on Tuesday (May 14) in Los Angeles.

The 50-year-old actor was joined by his cast mates Ian McShane, John Hawkes, Kim Dickens, Molly Parker, Tony Curran, Geri Jewell, Robin Weigert, Jade Pettyjohn, Keone Young and Paula Malcomeson.

Also in attendance to show their support were writer-creator David Milch and director Dan Minahan, as well as Thomas Middleditch and Elvy Yost.

Timothy Olyphant is all smiles as he arrives at the Film Independent presents an evening with Deadwood: The Movie held at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday (April 23) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 50-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Ian McShane, John Hawkes, Gerald McRaney, as well as the film’s executive producer Carolyn Strauss and Daniel Minahan.

“My mindset was, ‘S–t. I guess I’m going to have to make some kind of decision here.’,” Timothy on returning to the role (via TVLine). “It was a very curious process. I did not expect to be in the position to actually have to make a decision; I just assumed it would go away. It’s a curious [thing] deciding on whether to do a job when all of your old friends have already committed to it and you kind of think, ‘Well, I’ve never been in a position to be such an a–hole.’ But it was [ultimately] a really wonderful process with [series creator/writer] David Milch and [director] Dan Minahan and [HBO]‘s Carolyn Strauss. I had a lot of conversations with them. The whole process was quite rewarding.”

James Lafferty looked sharp at a special screening of his thriller film Small Town Crime!

The 32-year-old One Tree Hill star hit the red carpet at the event held at the Vista Theatre on Wednesday (January 10) in Los Angeles.

He was joined by his co-star Stefanie Scott, who stunned in a bold red dress with matching heels, earrings, and lipstick.

Also in attendance were their other castmates John Hawkes, Clifton Collins Jr., Michael Vartan, Sean Carrigan, Jeremy Ratchford, Dale Dickey, Michelle Lang, and directors/writers Eshom and Ian Nelms.

“It’s been an honor and an absolute riot working with the @nelmsbros over the years,” James captioned the Instagram photo below. “Last night’s premiere of @smalltowncrime was one of the many peaks they’ll enjoy in what’s sure to be a long and fruitful career. Thank you a million times for having me along for the ride, fellas.”

“Thank you also to the family and friends that supported last night (including @stephencolletti, who I just ripped this pic from),” James added, giving a shout-out to his former OTH co-star Stephen Colletti, who was in attendance to show his support. “If you haven’t already caught the film on Directv, look out for it in theaters (sweet) and on demand January 19th. You will NOT be disappointed. Unless you hate great films. In which case I can’t help you.”

Jake Gyllenhal looks super suave in his tux while stepping out on the red carpet at the premiere of Everest during the 2015 Venice Film Festival on Wednesday evening (September 2) in Venice, Italy.

The 34-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-stars Josh Brolin (with fiance Kathryn Boyd), a newly blonde Jason Clarke, Emily Watson, and John Hawkes.

Earlier in the day, the cast attended a photo call to promote the film, which is set to hit theaters everywhere on September 25.

FYI: Jake is wearing Salvatore Ferragamo at both appearances. Josh is wearing Dolce&Gabbana at the premiere. Jason is wearing a Dolce&Gabbana tux, Tod’s shoes, David Yurman cuff links, and a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch at the premiere.
