Daniel Radcliffe & Jonathan Groff Had Special Roles In 'Merrily' Co-Star Lindsay Mendez's Wedding

Broadway star Lindsay Mendez and her beau J Alex Brinson have tied the knot!

The couple, who met on the set of the CBS series All Rise, got married on Monday (April 22) in New York City, and were sure to include friends in their special day.

Those friends, her Merrily We Roll Along co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Jonathan Groff, who both served special duties on the big day.

'Frozen' Secrets Including the Actress First Cast as Elsa, a Role Kristen Bell & Idina Menzel Auditioned For But Didn't Book & More

We just learned so much about Disney’s classic movie Frozen!

Believe it or not, the original blockbuster premiered in theaters 10 years ago. In honor of the special anniversary, Vanity Fair got stars including Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff together to look back on the start of the successful franchise.

In the process, we learned a lot about how the final movie we know and love differed from the original plot. It featured different actresses reading for Elsa and Anna (the characters played by Idina and Kristen) and a very different plot.

We also learned that Frozen was not the first Disney movie either Idina or Kristen auditioned for. Interestingly, they were both in the running for the same part in another hit from the House of Mouse.

At the end of the interview, the cast also reflected on John Travolta‘s now iconic flub at the Oscars when he introduced Idina as Adele Dazeem.

Constance Wu Reunites with Awkwafina at 'Little Shop of Horrors' Celebration

Constance Wu is now playing Audrey in the off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors and she celebrated the musical’s 1000th performance with some famous friends!

The 41-year-old actress reunited with Crazy Rich Asians co-star Awkwafina at the party on Sunday night (October 15) at Bryant Park Grill in New York City.

Constance was also joined on the carpet by her co-star Corbin Bleu, who is playing the lead role of Seymour in the classic musical.

Jonathan Groff, who originated the role of Seymour in this production, and director Michael Mayer also attended the party.

When her casting was announced, Constance said, “I am so excited to be in this production, singing and performing alongside the brilliant Corbin Bleu, and enjoying the thrill of live & alive theater with the audience.” The show is currently being performed at the Westside Theatre.

Jonathan Groff is sharing the beautiful story of how he came out as gay to his brother, David Groff.

While speaking with Condé Nast Traveler, the 38-year-old actor and singer recalled a trip to Florence, Italy in 2008 that changed his life.
