Simone Biles withdrew from the team finals event in gymnastics at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics earlier today (June 27), and later she revealed it was due to her mental health.
Now, the 24-year-old star athlete has revealed what she told her three remaining teammates – Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles and Grace McCallum - after she decided to withdraw, and how they reacted to the news.

Team USA – Sunisa Lee, Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles and Grace McCallum – took home the silver medal at the 2021 Olympics for the women’s team all-around gymnastics final on Tuesday (July 27) in Tokyo, Japan.
This all happened after Simone had to withdraw from the final competition this morning due to a medical issue. You can read the statement released by the US Gymnastics right here.
The Russian Olympic Committee won gold and Great Britain won bronze. The US was favored to win for the third Olympics in a row with another very strong team of athletes.
After Simone Biles‘ exit, she stayed to cheer on her teammates and congratulate them after their strong showings.
