Allison Janney and Jurnee Smollett are stepping out for the premiere of their new Netflix movie!

The 62-year-old Oscar-winning actress and the 35-year-old Emmy-nominated actress hit the red carpet for the premiere of Lou on Thursday evening (September 15) at Tudum Theater in Hollywood, Calif.

For the event, Allison looked pretty in a black lace dress while Jurnee sported a cool teal and gray top paired with black pants.

Allison and Jurnee‘s young co-star Ridley Asha Bateman also attended the premiere along with producers J.J. Abrams and Jon Cohen.

Allison Janney searches for a missing child with Jurnee Smollett in the first look trailer for their new Netflix movie, Lou.

Here’s a synopsis of the upcoming movie: Thinking she’d put her dangerous past behind her, Lou (Janney) finds her quiet life interrupted when a desperate mother (Smollett) begs her to save her kidnapped daughter. As a massive storm rages, the two women risk their lives on a rescue mission that will test their limits and expose dark and shocking secrets from their pasts.

In addition to Allison and Jurnee, the movie will also star Logan Marshall-Green and Ridley Asha Bateman.

Directed by Anna Foerster, Lou will premiere on September 23 on Netflix.

Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg hit the red carpet for the premiere of their new film, Day Shift, at Regal LA Live on Wednesday night (August 10) in Los Angeles.

The two actors were joined by many of their co-stars including Karla Souza, Meagan Good, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Oliver Masucci, Massi Furlan, Steve Howey, and Zion Broadnax.

Massi even showed up to the premiere in vampire fangs and contacts!

Jurnee Smollett was also spotted at the premiere to support the cast, and director J.J. Perry.

Here’s a summary of the movie: A hard-working, blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted 8-year-old daughter. His mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income: hunting and killing vampires.

A spokesperson for Warner Bros. Pictures opened up about the status of the spinoff.

It looks like Beyonce gathered a bunch of her famous friends to celebrate the release of her new album Renaissance!

A ton of Bey‘s loved ones and celeb pals were seen leaving the Times Square Edition hotel after a private party on Friday night (August 5) in New York City.

Among the people in attendance were Beyonce‘s mom Tina Knowles-Lawson and dad Mathew Knowles, as well as Donald Glover, Leonardo DiCaprio, Yara Shahidi, Janelle Monae, Kendrick Lamar, Jill Scott, Jurnee Smollett, La La Anthony, Chloe Bailey, Trevor Noah, and many, many more.

Sadly, there are no photos of Beyonce and Jay-Z at the party, but photographers say they were indeed at the event.

Beyonce dropped her album Renaissance on July 29 and it’s going to top the Billboard 200 album chart in its first week of release. Check out the projections for the first week of sales!

There were many celebrities in attendance at Louis Vuitton‘s celebration of the opening of 200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition!

Nina Dobrev, Jaden Smith, and Kaitlyn Dever were among the stars who stepped out for the event on Thursday night (July 28) on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Calif.

More stars in attendance included Shay Mitchell, Samara Weaving, Jurnee Smollett, Maria Bakalova, Ava Phillippe, and more.

“The LOUIS 200 project invited a mosaic of talents and friends spanning arts and culture, the sciences, sports, global causes and more to each personalize a metaphorical blank canvas measuring approximately the same dimensions of the original trunk that Louis conceived in the 1850s,” the brand said.

The exhibition is open to the public through September 6th.

The actresses both stepped out to attend Dazed and Versace‘s celebration of the Odissea sneaker from Versace on Wednesday (July 27) at a warehouse in Echo Park, Calif.

Odissea from Versace features basketball sneaker elements cut-through with futuristic line punctuations and a 3D rubber Medusa plaque that defines the silhouette. Its clean, sharp lines recall the shape of an aerodynamic cycling helmet or dynamic future spacecraft, inspired in its architectural shape by celestial travel and the stars, in a distinctly positive take on futuristic design and fashion.
