The cast of Jersey Shore is opening up about Ronnie Ortiz-Magro‘s complicated, on-and-off relationship with girlfriend Jen Harley.

The stars of the hit MTV series – Deena Cortese, JWoww, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Snooki, Pauly D, Angelina Pivarnick and Vinny Guadagnino – have been making their promo rounds in New York City, and made sure to stop by the Today show on Thursday morning (August 23) to talk about what’s to come from Season 2 of Family Vacation.

“It puts us in a weird position, you know, when your friend has somebody and you see that significant other’s treating them bad, you’re like, you have to like this person because they’re going to be back with them, that’s how we are with her,” Pauly D told Us Weekly while vising the studio the day before (August 22). “She’s treating him like this, we have to like like her, if he likes her. It’s just a weird situation, but it’s not for us to really like, it’s for him. We support Ronnie. 100 percent.”

“I always say, ‘If Ron likes her, we like her.’ Whatever emotion he’s on,” JWoww added.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation season 2 premieres on MTV Thursday, August 23, at 8 p.m. ET!

The cast of Jersey Shore is talking Season 2 of Family Vacation!

The stars of the hit MTV series – Deena Cortese, JWoww, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Snooki, Pauly D, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Vinny Guadagnino – all made an appearance at Build Series on Wednesday (August 22) in New York City.

During their appearance, the cast discussed the upcoming second season of the revival of their show, which kicks off in Las Vegas and returns to New Jersey for a weekend in Atlantic City.

The MTV show is returning for part two on August 23 with a two-hour premiere. Watch them discuss the new season below!

The MTV show is returning for part two on August 23 with a two-hour premiere, featuring Deena Cortese, JWoww, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Snooki, Pauly D, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Vinny Guadagnino.

There’s sure to be a lot in store this season. In the recent past, Ronnie got in a domestic violence incident with the mother of his child, and Deena announced that she’s pregnant. Also…a Pauly D wedding is teased!

The cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is standing by Ronnie Ortiz-Magro after his physical fight with his ex was caught on a live stream.

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, JWoww, Mike Sorrentino, Pauly D, Vinny Guadagnino and Deena Nicole Cortese made an appearance on The View on Wednesday (May 2) in New York City and they were asked about the incident.

“I have to bring up the elephant in the room that Ronnie is not here,” host Meghan McCain said. “And I’m a big fan of his as well, he’s been very provocative this season. He’s at home with his newborn baby girl, but he made headlines this past few days because he’s been publicly fighting with his girlfriend. Obviously you guys are close, how do you feel about this?”

“So Ronnie, um…out of respect for him and his family, he’s not here, so we don’t wanna speak on his behalf,” Pauly D replied. “We are one big family, so we love and support each other and everything it is that we do.”

The show sees the return of cast members Deena Nicole Cortese, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Pollizi, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio and Vinny Guadagnino.

This season on MTV, Sammi Sweetheart decided not to participate, but she’s included in our before and after as well.

If you don’t know, season one of Jersey Shore premiered back in 2009.

The cast of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation stepped out in style to attend the premiere of their reboot series on Wednesday night (April 4) at the PHD Rooftop at the Dream Hotel in New York City.

Cast members Deena Nicole Cortese, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Pollizi, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio and Vinny Guadagnino all hit the red carpet at the premiere.

Skipping out on the premiere was Ronnie Ortiz-Magro – who just welcomed his first daughter with girlfriend Jen Harley the day before!

ICYMI, former cast member Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola recently revealed why she decided not to take part in the reunion show.

Jersey Shore and Geordie Shore have joined forces! Kind of…

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, Jennifer ‘JWOWW’ Farley and DJ Pauly D have made their way to London ahead of the premiere of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation this Thursday (April 5).

While out promoting the show, the Jersey Shore cast got the chance to meet Geordie Shore cast members Nathan Henry, Sophie Kasaei, Chloe Ferry and Sam Gowland as they took them on a tour of London and posed at the Big Eye, South Bank.

“When shores collide 🍾,” Snooki captioned with her Instagram post.
