SM Entertainment is revealing their plans!
The K-pop entertainment agency shared the details of their artist roster’s planned comebacks for 2024 on Thursday (February 8), via Soompi.
Dubbed “SM 3.0,” the new schedule includes some of the biggest names in the South Korean music industry. There are plans in the works for solo debuts, mini-albums and full studio albums, tours, fan-cons and more!

It’s so sad to see members leave K-pop groups, but sadly, it’s a more common occurrence than we’d like.
Whether it be for mental or physical health reasons, or because they simply chose not to extend their contracts with their agencies, certain members of groups have dropped out of their bands in order to pursue solo careers or drop out of the entertainment industry entirely.
In 2024, two members of prominent boy bands have already just left their groups.

It’s not easy being a K-pop idol, and sadly, several K-pop groups are likely disbanding for good this year.
While there are so many incredible girl groups and boy bands in the South Korean music scene, there’s also fierce competition. Exclusive contract deals for groups often expire in less than a decade’s time – seven years to be exact, typically.
It’s pretty common for members of groups to go solo after their contracts expire, or pursue new opportunities, like acting and TV hosting gigs.
As a result, we have some major K-pop groups up for potential disbandment in 2024, and at least one that has already renewed without some members.

Daisy is sharing what it takes to become a rapper in a K-pop girl group – and it’s not exactly what you think.
The 25-year-old former member of MOMOLAND, known for their hit “Bboom Bboom,” shared her story of becoming a rapper in the group on her TikTok.
“Did you want to rap or sing?” one user asked her.
“First of all, thank you so much for asking this because I’m literally on my knees right now. I’ve been wanting to defend myself about this for forever. So get ready with me while I tell you the story of how I became a rapper and how it’s all Nicki Minaj‘s fault,” she began.
