Kaitlyn Bristowe is addressing speculation about her relationship status.

Earlier this week, the 35-year-old former The Bachelorette posted a photo on Instagram with her two dogs Ramen and Pinot. In the photo, Kaitlyn and her dogs are posing in front of a mural with candy hearts on it, and one of the hearts read, “Single AF.”

After posting the photo, many fans started to speculate that Kaitlyn and boyfriend Jason Tartick had split.

On Thursday (February 25), Kaitlyn took to her Instagram Story to address the rumors, clarifying that she and Jason, 32, are still together.

“So I posted a picture and in the background, it said ‘Single AF’ and I didn’t even notice,” Kaitlyn said in the video. “So people thought it was hinting towards something, but it’s not.”

Kaitlyn added, “Then I put on my Stories that if you zoom out, it also says ‘Engaged AF,’ basically to say don’t take it seriously. Now people think I’m engaged, and they think I’m single.”

Kaitlyn then panned the camera to show Jason, where she asked him, “Jason, are we engaged?”

“No,” Jason responded.

“Are we broken up?” Kaitlyn then asked, with Jason responding, “No.”

She then asked Jason, “Are we happy?” to which he responded by singing “Happy Together by The Turtles.

Kaitlyn and Jason first met in October 2018 when he appeared on her podcast Off the Vine. They then confirmed they were dating in January 2019 before moving in together in Nashville.

If you missed it, ABC recently said they are working on making “appropriate changes” to the Bachelor franchise amid the ongoing racial controversy.

Kaitlyn Bristowe is owning up to her mistakes and is apologizing to Chelsea Vaughn after her comments she made earlier in the week on social media.

The former Bachelorette star and current Dancing With the Stars champion shared a video on her Instagram Story and referenced Chelsea‘s conversation with Matt James on The Bachelor, as they talked about the insecurities that Black women can experience with their hair.

“I was doing some research in my last video and I wanted to explain why,” she shared with her followers. “And some of you may know and some of you may not. And I think the people who maybe watched my story and didn’t catch his should also be educated, which I’m going to try and talk about right now.”

Kaitlyn says that she “selfishly stopped listening” to what Chelsea was saying in the episode and actually started to talk to boyfriend Jason Tartick about her own hair.

“I was like, ‘Yeah, there is emotional attachment. I’m so insecure about my hair,’” she said. “And I feel completely, completely ignorant. I am ignorant. I was ignorant in that moment to not listen to the rest of her story and understand the history behind why she had insecurities around her hair.”

Kaitlyn said she understands that her issues with her hair are “not comparable to Chelsea’s journey with hair and the history behind that and why she has the feeling. Chelsea’s experience is deeply ingrained in Black culture and beauty standards and I have now done so much research into what that looked like for many centuries.”

She continued, “I’m so glad that, you know, ABC is starting to share these voices and showing representation of all colors and they should do more shapes and sizes, too. You know, we can dive into that on another day.”

Just recently, Bachelor producers revealed why they added more women to the mix after the premiere.

Kaitlyn Bristowe is opening up about her health.

The 35-year-old Bachelorette star revealed that she and boyfriend Jason Tartick tested positive for coronavirus days ago, and is now providing an update via Instagram Story about her health.

In the update, she revealed that she suffered a loss of taste and smell.

“I’ve been trying really hard to do the whole perspective thing, but a few of my friends have been like, ‘Kaitlyn, it’s okay to be scared and to be upset and to be frustrated at this.’ And so today, I’m just allowing myself to be bummed out,” she said, adding she’s “a little bit depressed,” as well as “super anxious and scared” about how the virus will affect her in the long term.

“I’m worried if, like, what if my smell and taste never comes back? Then I get scared [of] what if tomorrow I wake up and I can’t breathe? What if the next day I’m not okay? I’m doing all these what-ifs and I’m spiraling, and I feel really, really anxious today. I hate when things are unpredictable, and COVID is definitely unpredictable,” she continued.

She added a more lighthearted video of herself using a device from CVS to steam Vicks VapoRub into her nose.

“This is not an ad — you do not get a discount code, but you do get a little bit of hope,” she joked.

All of these celebrities have also tested positive for coronavirus.

The 35-year-old former Bachelorette star, who just won the latest season of Dancing With the Stars, has tested positive for coronavirus alongside her boyfriend Jason Tartick.

“Unfortunately, this is our Christmas card this year. We have Covid 😭,” Kaitlyn captioned the below selfie. “Jason and I had been trying to quarantine before seeing family. We thought we were making a responsible decision to have ONE person over, who had been tested daily for work. Negative tests 4 days in a row. The day we saw her, she became positive which we all found out the next day.”

Kaitlyn continued, “Now, like many, we will spend Christmas by ourselves. We just want to let everyone know that we thought we were being safe, but covid is bigger than us. Today, We are thinking of everyone who is spending the holidays alone, anyone who is sick or overcoming something, (as 2020 has taught us to overcome a lot), and all of the healthcare workers who have been away from family, taking care of others for months, and months now. We will be ok!! Be safe and happy holidays!!”

Jason added, “We had a responsible quarantine plan in place so that we could see my family for the holiday. Shame on us, we didn’t stick to the plan. We made an adult decision to allow a friend over during the quarantine time [because] for a project she was working on she was required to be tested and showed 4 negative tests in a row for her work. On her way home Sunday, her Saturday morning test result came in positive.”

Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s journey on Dancing with the Stars almost came to an early end!

At the beginning of the second episode on Tuesday night (September 22), host Tyra Banks revealed that the 35-year-old Bachelor star had suffered an ankle injury and it was unclear if she would be able to dance.

About halfway through the night, Kaitlyn‘s partner Artem Chigvintsev took to the dance floor to announce that she will be able to dance.

Kaitlyn performed the last dance of the night, a Foxtrot, which earned her and Artem a score of 22 – the best score of the night!

“I tell myself all the time that I’m resilient,” Kaitlyn said after her dance. “This was a dream. I’m happy to do it.”

Kaitlyn Bristowe and her boyfriend Jason Tartick are already thinking about expanding their family and they have a name picked out for one of their future kids!

Jason made an appearance on Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti‘s Almost Famous podcast this week and talked about his relationship with Kaitlyn.

“We’re on the same page, 100 percent on the same page,” Jason said about starting a family. “In quarantine, it’s funny, we have one of our kids’ names picked out already. Really normal, right? So, yeah, we’re on the same page.”

Jason also talked about Kaitlyn‘s dedication to her work on Dancing With the Stars and her career.

“She’s such a motivated person, she just wakes up every day and kicks ass. So regardless of what it is she’s doing, she’s gonna do it a thousand percent, just a level that’s so strong,” Jason said. “My point is, if that next chapter is — and will be — us having kids, she’s going to be the most badass mother ever. Knowing her, she’s just so committed to everything she does and passionate.”

Lady Gaga is a big Dancing with the Stars fan!

The 34-year-old entertainer took to Twitter on Monday (September 14) to send some love to contestant Kaitlyn Bristowe, revealing that her performance made her cry.

“Is it weird that this made me cry…I love watching people happy and dancing!” Gaga tweeted.

For her performance during the premiere, the 35-year-old The Bachelorette star and her partner Artem Chigvintsev performed to Gaga‘s song “Stupid Love.”

The judges scored them 20 out of 30, the third highest score of the night. You can check out the entire leader board here.

After seeing Gaga‘s tweet, Kaitlyn responded, tweeting, “I’m never going to recover from lady Gaga watching me dance to her song. #dwts.”
