The 46-year-old Last Week Tonight host began his journey in the entertainment industry as a stand-up comedian in the United Kingdom. However, it was his move to New York City that sent him skyrocketing to stardom.

Working alongside Jon Stewart on The Daily Show, his talent and charisma propelled him into the spotlight, eventually leading to his own show, Last Week Tonight, which cemented his status as a household name.

John Oliver and his wife Kate Norley secretly welcomed a baby boy three months ago!

“I have no idea! We have a 3-month-old, so as far away from the 3-month-old as possible,” John told People on the red carpet at the Emmys when asked where he would put his award for Outstanding Variety Talk Series for Last Week Tonight.

“It’s bewildering [and] exhausting juggling that and the show, but no, it’s the greatest,” John added when asked about having two kids. He and Kate also have a two-year-old son.

Congrats to the happy couple on the wonderful news!

John Oliver and his wife Kate Norley are parents for the first time – they just welcomed a baby boy!

The 38-year-old host of HBO’s Last Week Tonight has been married to Kate since 2011.

“John and his wife Kate are parents of a baby boy,” a rep for HBO told E! Online. “Everybody is happy and healthy.”

Kate is an Iraq war veteran and John spoke up on Veterans Day about how she is his hero.

“I’m incredibly proud of her for everything that she did and has done and is continuing to do and supporting everyone who she has served with,” John told the New York Daily News. “So, yeah, I have more skin in the game regarding veterans’ issues than you might imagine. I’m a British impostor! She went through a lot and I got to hear all the stories what it was like from her. She’s one of my heroes.”
