Fans have noticed that since Mark Consuelos took on co-hosting duties on Live With Kelly & Mark opposite his wife, Kelly Ripa, 2 of the episodes have been pre-recorded.

If you don’t know, Ryan Seacrest‘s last show for Live! with Kelly & Ryan aired on April 14 and Mark‘s first show took place that Monday, April 17,

The April 17, 18, and 19 broadcasts were all live, but viewers saw a pre-recorded message appear on the April 20 and 21st broadcasts.

Now, a source is revealing the reason why.

Andy Cohen is sticking up for his longtime friends.

Earlier this week, the New York Post published an article criticizing Mark Consuelos‘ first week of co-hosting Live with Kelly & Mark alongside his wife Kelly Ripa.

The newspaper claimed that Mark, 52, was doing a “bad” job as the new co-host of the morning talk show based on some negative tweets.

During the Wednesday (April 19) episode of his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live, Andy, 54, called out the newspaper for criticizing Mark after just two days on the job.

Ryan Seacrest is saying goodbye to Live with Kelly and Ryan.

On Friday (April 14), the 48-year-old TV personality’s final episode as co-host of the ABC daytime talk show with Kelly Ripa aired, there was not a dry eye in studio.

During the episode which was previously recorded, Ryan and Kelly, 52, got emotional as they looked back on their six-year run as co-hosts.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are not shy about making intimate confessions about the fun they have in the bedroom and they recently talked about the FaceTime sessions they have when they’re in separate cities.

The 52-year-old talk show host and the 52-year-old Riverdale actor have been together since 1995 and married since 1996. They are the parents of three children – Michael, 25, Lola, 21, and Joaquin, 20.

Kelly talked about her intimate fun with Mark while chatting with a marriage counselor for a recent episode of her SiriusXM podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera.

Mark was asked about her comments in a new interview that was just published.

Kelly Ripa is poking some fun at the Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes scandal.

Late last year, it was revealed that the former GMA3 co-hosts were having a behind-the-scenes affair while they were both still married to other people.

Following an investigation, ABC fired both Amy and T.J. Live! also airs on ABC.

Ahead of her husband Mark Consuelos officially joining Live! as her new co-host, Kelly, 52, joked that she and Mark, also 52, will be keeping their relationship strictly professional.
